Character commissioned and series/video game (please include if this was the entire costume, just a jacket, prop, accessory, wig, etc.): Gijinka Fluttershy MLP (My little Pony Frienship is Magic) Dress.

http://tinypic.com/r/zkisfs/6 Altered version Ignore my streamstress in the back she noting how she was going to fix the bow.

Timeline (how long your order took to process): Contacted Hayley about August 9th, Dress was done August 29th. Deadline was 2013.

Describe your Experience.
Was just browsing the marketplace came across her ad, saw her Pinkie Pie and other Cosplays loved them and decided on a whim and ask if she can come up with a Fluttershy Dress design. Immediately responded and even drew up a sketch for me from then on it was a good experience.
Showed me a few progress shots, asked her to change a material to satin which she quickly did although the material wasn't as shiny as I have seen satin to be. Fixed a few things I had issues with so that was good, item shipped very well.
However I did have to have the dress altered due to the chest being really big (gave correct measuments btw).
The bows slumped a lot as well. She did offer for me to send it back so she could fix it which was great but I didn't want to safety pin the bows for them to stay on if it could be fixed by adding a hook and what not, so there for I had someone in town to fix it that way they could typically see it on me.

Pros: Very fast communication, Fast shipping, Easy to work with.

: Again Size was REALLY big on me chest wise, bows slumped a lot, Wished material options were discussed before anything was made. Material quality could have been better, but what its made out now is acceptable.

Comments: Overall I really do love the dress, I think she did a good job but there is room for some improvement.

Character commissioned and series/video game: Johnny Joestar - Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Full costume.

Undershirt - Jacket - Pants

Bandana - Arm warmers

Timeline (how long your order took to process)
1 1/2 months - I must stress that I had no deadline and was okay with extending the order.

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.
I began searching for a cosplay commissioner way back in May. Finding the right person just seemed impossible - either they would never respond back, stop responding after I sent my measurements, cancel on me because they were too busy, or had outrageous prices. After literally months of searching, I stumbled upon Angie - my saving grace.

I sent her and about 5 other commissioners an email at the same time. I got a response from Angie what seemed like minutes after I sent the email, while the others responded after perhaps a week or not at all. Throughout the entire process she was very responsive, kept me updated, help me figure out my measurements when I was having trouble, and asked me questions about the cosplay I myself didn't even think about.

One of the biggest problems with my cosplay was finding the right fabric. For the pants I needed something stretchy and with a specific pattern. No one on earth I had talked to could find this fabric, but Angie found it almost immediately. She even got into contact with other Johnny cosplayers to ask them questions about the fabrics they used!

The product itself turned out fantastic. I have minor gripes about a few things, but really they are negligible compared to the service and everything that went well. The price was great compared to other offers I got. The outfit is accurate and it fits well. The service and response time was superb. She even sent a guide on how to wash each individual part. I HIGHLY recommend people commission Angie - though maybe I shouldn't so she'll be open if I ever seek out her help again

Item Commissioned: Cerebella Wig

Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: No pictures since she never even gave me any...

Timeline: July 23 - Today

Experience: I saw that Kkroxas was offering wig commissions and I figured why not go to her since she does have a portfolio on her Facebook and she seems to be posting up progress photos. After I paid her the half of my payment she all of a sudden disappeared online. She told me through PM that she got the base wig, however when I asked her photos for evidence she said that she have to work at night and couldn't be able to do so. Then all of sudden she got 'sick' and wasn't on facebook for days at a time. I tried my best to communicate with her through Deviantart and facebook but nothing happened. May I say that she told me that she would even post up more progress pictures every 3 days before I gave her the money. I understand that there were health issues going on, but she could at least let me know ahead of time right? WRONG! She never let me know!

I gave her some time to respond back, but then I noticed the signs that she was a scammer as there were complaints that was posted up on her facebook. And it wasn't till recently I noticed that she was indeed a scammer since she stole pictures from the people she commissioned to and guess what? She never had that item since she was making excuses for not paying the stuff (since she was spending money on the other people she scammed). And on top of that, she was online 3 days ago and she doesn't even bother helping out with her consumers with their problems with her! I have to say that I am thankful for the other people who fell for her tricks as well for giving me all this information that I need to know.

And so, I got my money back today since I had a feeling it was time to act fast before paypal wouldn't do anything about it; which she didn't even tell her side of the story since she was out hiding from us. Oh and the due date was suppose to be next week and not once have I receive a picture of the wig she was suppose to work on.

Final Comments: Do NOT fall for her tricks as she will scam you and she will disappear online right near your due date!

Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...piterfinal.jpg

Timeline (how long your order took to process): 07/02/12---09/10/12

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: She was great to work with and was extremely considerate of how I wanted certain details to be done (i.e. non-shiny fabric, distinct type of skirt pleat). She responded in a timely manner and always kept me in the loop as to how things were coming along. The only issues I had were the sleeve rolls and the rolls for the gloves, I have thin arms and they were far too big so I'm having to re-amp them now. She did however do more than I asked which was extremely sweet (gave me earrings to go!), and overall I do believe that I got my money's worth.

Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://damnwhiterabbit.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ofbbk
Timeline (how long your order took to process): about a month
Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.: I specifically told her I wanted the color to be gray because Lulu's dress is not black like a lot of people seem to forget. I also told her that I wanted the right amount of belts and NO pleather. Well what I got was a black dress, lacking in belts made from pleather....in other words she bought it on eBay. At first I was confused as to why it wasn't what I wanted, but I decided to confront her later about it because we were at a con. When I tried it on it was much to big for me (a tell-tale sign that it was ebay bought) I had to be safety pinned into it. We figured out that it was store bought because my friend commissioned an Auron costume from her. While walking around we say the same exact costume about 5 more times, down to the material. Later he finds a manufacturers tag on it. To even further the proof her ex-boyfriend told us he can prove that she store bought the costumes. Her claim "I bought the patterns off ebay and the fabric from Malaysia." Yeah....right...Her DA is fairly new because she closed her old account due to people calling her out on her store bought handy work.

Item purchased (please include quantity): Magnum Long/XL in Raven.
Links to picture(s) of your received item: http://www.cosplay.com/costume/438114/ (it has been cut and styled)
Timeline (how long your order took to process): Ordered 1st August and shipped 4th August. I'm not sure when I got it but it was around 20-25 August.
Describe your Experience: It was the first time I ordered from Arda. I had heard only good things about them so I decided to give it a go. I had no problems with the transaction, everything went well. The wig came packed in a white slim cardboard box, nicely protected. The wig itself is very nice, I love the color because it isn't just a solid single color but has different shades of colors blended together. The fibers are very nice too and the wig cap is the largest one I own currently.. it's a tad big maybe but it still fits well so I don't really complain. The wig is super thick and it doesn't seem very shiny at all in normal light. I'm happy with my purchase.

Website: http://akino-atelier.deviantart.com/, http://www.akino-atelier.com/, http://www.cosplay.com/member/33202
Character commissioned: Vincent Valentine Cosplay (Full Costume: Pants, Cape, Holster, Glove, and Shirt)
Series: Final Fantasy VII
Links to pictures of your commissioned item: http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs71/i/20...ls-d5g36g0.jpg
Timeline: April-August. Five Months

Describe your Experience: Akino contacted me when I first made my advertisement looking for a Vincent Valentine commissioner that was professional in the Marketplace. I sent her an e-mail and asked for quotes. She replied back quickly and divided each commission with a detailed information of what she was going to do and how much would it cost. She considered my budget and promised to stay as close to the reference pictures as she could. This commissioner studies the reference pictures that you send her carefully and makes an estimate of the cost depending on what you want to include and how you want it to be made. She breaks down the cost and explains to you what she is charging for each process and how it is going to be made. Once you send her the payment she will inform you immediately once it's received and she will let you know when she will begin working on your commission. Akino keeps an In-Progress Monthly List in her DeviantArt account which she updates frequently. When you contact her she will ask you for when do you need your costume and she will put your name in that established month. Do not expect it to be finished in that same month though, make sure you give her a month or two extra in your timeframe. Also the fabric was different than the one we had discussed in the earlier e-mails. It was supposed to be pleather and it ended up being entirely a different fabric. She provides, in her website, one of the best and the most helpful Measurement Charts I've ever seen. She will update you on request and when you contact her, will always reply. She was friendly and responsive, and I gave her a big enough timeframe for her to finish the costume. She always replied to my questions, she was friendly, sweet, and polite. It's best to suggest that you give a due date that is a two months before your convention and you should be good. She did send pictures before shipping the cosplay and added some things that were missing into it. I received my cosplay and although the coat it's a little short, it looks great!

-Replies quickly
-Has a great Measurement Chart system in her website
-Has an In-Progress Monthly List in her DeviantArt account
-Explains in depth what she will do and divides the cost so you understand what she's charging you for and how much.
-Always replies back
-Sends a Tracking Number

-Fabric was different than the one discussed in the beginning.
-Went over the Due-Date. (This was mostly to the fact that three cosplays she had made were stolen and she had to remade them.)

Final Grade: B-

Timeline: Less than one month!

Describe your Experience: This is my second commission with her! I am once again blown away by the talent of this commissioner! Her measurements are spot-on, the colors match exactly to how I wanted them to, and the quality is top-notch. She is incredibly talented! She's an artist and a very responsible and professional commissioner. She draws, paints, makes jewelry, and is very talented in so many artistical areas! I contacted Atobe in the beginning of February this year, I found her gallery on D.A. and I saw that she was taking commissions. Immediately I contacted her and asked her if she was willing to take this order. I've commissioned her for three cosplays, this is the second one that she has finished. She's a joy to work with, she will always reply to your notes and your emails with incredible speed and she is very VERY patient and VERY RESPONSIBLE. She did a wonderful job packaging it and it arrived in perfect condition! My experience with her through the whole process of the three commissions has been a wonderful one. Specifically speaking about this commission: She always showed me pictures, discussed measurements, and I'm very pleased with the result. I will definitely commission her again!

-Packages Neatly and Safely
-Sends a Tracking Number
-Replies quickly
-Explains in depth what she will do
-Shows you LOTS of pictures, and keeps you updated!
-She is a wonder to work with and she's very honest and a sweetheart to work with!

Name of Commissioner: Moemall
Website: http://moemall.com
Character commissioned and series/video game: Tia from Avalon Code (Full costume: undershirt, vest, scarf, coat, skirt, stockings, sash)
Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://i.imgur.com/06zOD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RRDTl.jpg
Timeline (how long your order took to process): I paid on 19 July and received it on 27 September. They said the processing time would be 10-12 weeks so it was pretty quick!
Describe your Experience: It was my first costume, but I had already been to moemall's physical store and saw the quality of their costumes so I wasn't as nervous as one might think. There was a bit of hesitation at the start however, because although I knew their pre-made costumes were nice, I hadn't heard anything about commissioned ones before. Overall, it was a very fantastic experience.
The costume itself is pretty damn nice, they got the details down pat and stayed true to the references. The color choices of the fabrics were so nice, I'm glad they didn't make the coat pure red! It fits pretty much perfectly, albeit a little bit big on me even though I gave slightly smaller measurements? Not a problem, though! I'd prefer it being bigger than too tight.
There was an incident when they sent the first set of preview photos and they had actually gave the jacket a hood when it wasn't supposed to. After I informed them of their mistake, they fixed it within a week no problem.
Communication was great, they always answered any questions I had, and replied really quickly.

The only problems I found with the costume is that they didn't use appropriately shaped buttons on the vest, they were just pieces of fabric that looked like the buttons. They also forgot to sew buttons on the cuffs of the undershirt even though they had sewed holes and everything ahha.... nothing bad, it's unnoticeable underneath the coat anyway.

Definitely happy with my purchase, I'll certainly be buying from them again!!
