Question Haku Yowane Cosplay Help

My best friend who lives in Chicago and I want to cosplay as Neru Akita and Haku Yowane at the next con. I offered to make the Haku Yowane cosplay for her if I could figure out how. She isn't here so I can't do anything like wrap the fabric around her or anything. And I have almost NO experience with sewing. XDD I need to know how to make pretty much everything and what measurements to take, etc. I think if I try my best I may be able to do this. XDD

This is actually a pretty easy cosplay to make as it has minimal sewing.

For the pants, just buy a pair of black pants(prefferbly made out of stretchy material) and sew the purple strip up the side of the pants.
For the shirt buy a collared grey shirt and chop off the sleeves but remember measure before you cut. then cut the shirt untill you have the length of Haku's shirt, though you don't have to make it as short a lot of haku cosplayers don't.

The arm warmers are probably the only real sewing you will have to do. it's very easy. i used this tutorial to make my Kagamine Rin arm warmers. http://thecosplaychronicles.blogspot...-kagamine.html on this same page she also has a tutorial for the belt, instead of using orange fabric you will be using purple for haku. Then all is left is the shoes and the tie. Buy a pair of cheap white tennis shoes and paint a strip of purple around the shoe. And for the tie that should be pretty easy but if you can't find a purple tie purchase a white or light coloured tie and dye it purple.

see it's easier then you though (: And you can make this for all under $20, the shoes won't cost much so altogether it should cost around $30 if you go to the right places and don't spend more then you need to.

Even though you aren't together, she can buy the shirt then have someone mark it while shes wearing it. Dressmakers pencils are for exactly this purpose. Use a flat rate envelope to make the mailing cheaper

Thank you so much! >< I didn't think about just buying black pants XDD And I hope I'll be able to find a plain solid gray dress shirt around here. These stores don't seem to believe in plain. XDD
