Unofficial Photoshoot Thread!
Hello Everyone,
POST IN COMMENT THE TIME YOU WISH, THE FANDOM BASE, AND WHO WILL BE LEADING THE PHOTOSHOOT
I.E.
Time: 4-5pm Saturday
Fandom: Pokemon
Leader: Aziro Fusima
Ok in the past as a cosplayer and Photoshoot leader I've found it very wonderful to be able to set up photoshoots before the actual cons! Since I've attended convention at the Sheraton/Marriot before I can give alittle direction and help when deciding a time and place for photoshoots.
Locations:
Most Photoshoots are set up either in the Cancer survivor plaza or in the Sky Bridge [in the unused wing]. For now, these are the locations I'll set up times for. Please note that Last year the AC was almost non-exsistant in the Sky bridge so PLEASE make sure that if you have a photoshoot there that you have a smaller set [20 or less] and if you do have it there please take into account to stay to the side and not impeed traffic flow.
Times:
Photoshoots are usually scheduled for 1 hour slots. Even for larger photoshoots such as Naruto and Pokemon this provides more then enough time to have the shoot. If you've decided to attend a photoshoot please be sure to be on time so you won't miss any of the photoshoot fun!
Photoshoot leader advice:
If you're going to be leading a photoshoot please keep in mind that everyone will be looking to you for some form of direction. Always make sure to show up 5-10 minutes before your shoot so that way those who decide to arrive early will know they're at the right spot and at the time. As well make sure to atleast have a decent amount of pairings, solo, and pose ideas for those in your shoot. After the first half everyone will be more relaxed so feel free to let them choose as well. Most important, always have a second in command to help run the shoot. I've had it known in the past that some Photoshoot leaders didn't arrive due to emergencies so let others know who to look for so they don't power struggle for the first half figuring out who's in charge <3
When attending a photoshoot:
1. Be well rested
2. Have a snack or food in your belly
3. Make sure to drink plenty of water [especially if you're outside]
4. If you're not feeling well make sure to let someone know just in case and carry a card with possible allergies [though if you're feeling THAT bad I suggest you sit out]
5. Be courteous to other cosplayers
6. Have fun.
Ok and without further ado! Here's the open times and locations for photoshoots!
Note: YOU MAY SCHEDULE MORE THEN ONE PHOTOSHOOT PER FANDOM JUST MAKE THEM SEPERATE DAYS SHARE THE SPACES <3
