hey guys,

i have a question. Lately there has been less and less people who cosplay as the older gundam series and I wanted to ask where can i find the Zeon's Gun Naban Type 62. I found one at Hobby Link Japan but its always sold out, it may now be out of production but i'm asking nonetheless

as well as where can I find a char helmet? or how do I go about making one myself? since its more likely that it has never been produced for sale to the public.

I have alot of question but might as well ask, one last one:
what would be the best fabric to use for Char and Gihren Zabi's costumes?

there is a pepakura file for chars helmet i found just randomly looking for files to build gundam deathscythe. they are on 4shared.com

That pistol looks a lot like a mauser to me. You could probably buy a BB mauser gun, or some other type of toy replica, and make a fairly convincing Naban. That and a few hardware parts.

As for the Char helmet, finding a Pepakura file may be your best bet. I've also seen the helmets made from a Darth Vader helmet (just the top/back piece), and they look pretty good.
