Sakura Con Exhibitor- Ideas?
Hey guys so I'm going to be an exhibitor for Artist Alley this coming year at Sakura Con and I was wondering what you guys would want to see/buy. I already have a list of stuff I'm making to sell there but I like different perspectives on what you think would be popular and something that would sell.
What I'm making so far: - Chibi characters for necklaces (necklace chain/cords will be sold there as well) - Final Fantasy Materia necklaces, bottled Pheonix Down/Chocobo feathers etc - Rings (all sorts) - I will be offering a service for commissions on wigs, costumes, props, drawings though you will need to fill out a small form I will have available with the basics: Name, Number, Address, Desired item, description of item, email, deadline, etc. And because paper for these forms cost money and I only want serious people who really want something built there may be a small fee to put a hold on a spot (like $2.00 at the most). We also have a right to decline any of the requests. - T-shirts *designs vary* - Replica props from popular games or anime/manga ---- Let me know if you think there is something to add!

I think that's a good amount. You don't want too much going on, then it just takes away from all your awesome stuff. Just make sure you make enough of each item

Yeah I looked up some basic designs and they should be fairly easy so I can make mini dragon ball necklaces

While I was at Kumoricon looking around the dealer's hall, I got an idea for something I would love to see sold, but have yet to find anywhere. Lighters. Lighters that have anime or game related or any cute/cool design on them. That's something I'd buy up in a heartbeat.

the only problem witht he dragon ball necklaces is that you might have to make them with the different stars on them so making seven kinds of them with 1-7 stars on each one might be a big chore.

Dragon Ball necklaces will be both easy AND hard..The hard part being making all the stars..I say make like #1 because it's the first, #4 because it's the first one ever seen and Goku and Gohan both cherish it, and #7 because it's the last one..If you feel like making the rest by all means go ahead but this will make things easier.
As for the lighter idea, I like this as well and will buy one. I don't know if you plan on bic lighters or off brand zippo but either way I will buy

Alright I'll keep that in mind while making the products and yeah I'm not sure, If i used Bic lighters they'd be cheaper and zippos would be more expensive.

Awesome Can't wait to see. I will also buy art from you of my favorite characters. I would love to see some not so popular characters as well if you want to draw them..Obviously not a lot, but unpopular character are really loved my die hard fans like me. I can list some if you want, But judging by people on this site you can tell whats popular..
