Love Live! Arabian Night Dancer Set Cosplay

For an upcoming con, I will be cosplaying Umi Sonoda in the pictures attached! The only problem is that I haven't been seeing for long, and getting all of the detail on the pattern that is on the skirt may prove to be an issue for me. Does anyone have any tips on how I should approach it?

Should I sew the detail in? Maybe use fabric paint?
How should I go about the different fabric colors in the shirt near the bottom?

Any tips about any part of this costume would help tremendously! I'd also love any tips on starting the details of the headpiece.

Thank you so much!

If you can draw digitally, you could draw the fabric design and make your own fabric on Spoonflower. But if you're better at embroidery or painting, I'd go with whatever you're best at.

I found a youtube tutorial that might help you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CwLZeHbsYU

I would suggest getting a premade trim or two and layering them, and doing the thinner bits with fabric paint if you have a steady enough brush hand :3
