I listed some in my Square shopping cart how come its making me put in a website instead of loading from my files . Still trying to understand the sites nav.

ugh i still have to make the opposite foot but this was a nightmare. so much lacing, so many straps. each gaiter has 14 buckles on it, which is really extraneous. WHY

^ And I'm guessing that was all hand-stitched? This is why I do a lot less leather things than I want to.

yeah. There's a zipper in front that I used a machine for but yeah, all the lacing is hand done. The chisel I was using has points that are too small for the lace which made it even more of a pain.

There's so much hand stitching on this cosplay...gloves, gaiters...

My sewing machine will go through garment weight upholstery leather without an issue but veg tan all has to be hand done.

Currently working through the build for Kayle (LoL), lots of parts recycled from Giglamesh which is compound curve hell. Some parts from Kayle will be recycled into Gilgamesh's rebuild hopefully also done by mid next month.

Making memberberries for my Mr. Slave cosplay. Just bought a bunch of foam clown noses and spraypainted them purple. Once they dry, I'll get started on attaching their eyes and mouths

I made...two buttons last night. That's it. To be fair it's a little more involved since I'm having to "build" the buttons to make them oversized like I want, but it still feels like I should've been able to make more progress than that. On top of that I suck at hand-sewing and the stitches I did may fall out entirely due to me forgetting a kind of important step.

I was originally half-telling myself that it'd be okay if I didn't have Wicke done for Sakuracon but now I'm starting to feel like that may end up being a reality. I've just kind of lost all fire I had for this cosplay months ago, whereas my last one I was so into even up 'til the end...

Can anyone help?

I am working on an Elfen lied cosplays for Lucy and I am trying to make see-through vectors o using Transp-Art (See-through worbla) But I am having trouble figuring out how to keep them attached to me during my convention, can anyone give any tips on a simple back harness or something like that?? Thanks ^-^

The same techniques that work for all kinds of big wings should work for those aswell.

Actually made some progress last night! Added some decorative top-stitching to the skirt (still have one side to do to be finished), added the gold...thingies to the sweater (it's kinda like those shirts that have leather elbows, but on the cuff?), and did some other details like adding a skirt hook to keep the back from flopping and sewing the front of the waistband together. Lots of handsewing which I still feel I suck at but I don't think it looks too bad. I did apparently sew the skirt hook on backwards, so I should probably flip it around, but I'll wait until some of the bigger parts are done to redo it.

Once I'm done with all the sewing on the skirt I'm going to run it through the wash to remove all the fabric pencil I used on it. Plus once I sew the vinyl handlebars on the sides I won't be able to machine wash it anymore (I'm pretty sure at least) so I want to make sure it's as clean as possible to start with.

I finished sewing the turtleneck down the other night after stuffing it for body, and looking at it now I found I missed a few stitches or went too far and actually sewed it down to the chest. It still looks fine when worn though so I've told myself I'll fix it if I have time. Trying to not sweat the details so much, I think that's what's had me so hung up on this is trying to get everything absolutely perfect. I may be able to actually finish if I can keep up this pace.
