Female cosplaying as grimmjow?
Saw one or two pictures of a female cosplaying as grimmjow, but i don't know exactly what they did
Was thinking of just wearing the regular outfit but instead have long hair? Would that be weird?(my real hair is butt length) not sure if it would fit in a wig. Also, since his chest is exposed was thinking of wrapping some sort of bandages around my chest so my bra wouldn't show :S? Where do you get bandages like those? How do you glue his arrancar mask to your face without having it fall?! Any help is greatly appreciated ![]() |

Male Grimmjow here. The mask I have I made from Model magic following this tutorial, so it's pretty lightweight, and I keep it on using spirit gum.
I've seen a few female versions, and a few women do the male version, and both look good. The only real difference is the hair length. Wrapping with bandages works well, as does giving the shirt a zipper to keep it closed, or if you can get some and want to do it without the bra, you can use fabric adhesive to tape down the edge of the shirt to keep from flashing anyone. I think Ace bandages or something similar would work for the binding, or you could use 2" strips of fabric. Just make sure not to tighten it too much or leave it on when you're sleeping. Breathing is good, mmkay? |

I'm pretty sure you can find spirit gum on eBay but I also know Aradani Studios carries spirit gum and spirit gum remover.

Never have had to bind myself, but I would assume tucking or tying the tail to the rest of it is what keeps it from falling apart. It works best with slightly stretchy fabric, which is why most of my female friends use elastic bandages to do it. |
