Plue Plushie

I've been struggling with this for a couple of weeks now.
I've made the head, and the feet/legs aren't an issue since I can just modify existing tutorials for these. It's the body that is giving me grief. What shapes make this? I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question. For some reason I can't seem to break it down into parts. Especially parts that will attach a rounded head like that. D:

From the basic experience I've had with making plushies, I find it easiest to hand sew everything to a central body. So from the general design of plue, I would say a bean shaped body would be ideal. And then you could whip stitch the head and legs onto the body, tucking under fabric on the open edges so that they don't show.
