Preparing for Fan Expo 2013

I know its still along way from the Expo. However last year I only gave myself a month and a half to build my costume. I ended up staying awake all night doing the final touches. So this year I want to get started early and make the most amazing costume EVER ... now all I need to do is figure out what I want to make. I want it to be big, mechanical and a soldier at hart.
Anyone else already looking forward to being a Rock-star at Fan-Expo 2013?

i've got one costume that i'm doing for sure, and another that i really want to do but might be more of a pipe dream, lol. we'll see!

Fan Expo is on the weekend of my birthday \=w=/ (mine's the 24th)! Usually my parents go out and buy my favourite food to bbq while I stay home with my sister to clean the house. So l figured that I could celebrate my birthday there and splurge on anime stuff xD(if my mom lets me go). I'd probably go 2 days either way. I'd also probably go with one of the cosplay I'd wear to Anime North (I'd probably be Hungary).

Man I would love to go to Fan Expo, I haven't been which sucks since I know totally ungeeky people who have gone and brag constantly about meeting celebrities

^ I first started to go only 1 day over the weekend and now years later I'm going for the full weekend.

This year I'm probably will book the whole weekend off so that I can wear my body paint costume on Friday (and it's nice to just to do it in the hotel)

I find myself want to go to more panels and Q&A at FanExpo then at AN for some reason as well.

Definitely! I'm super excited for this year's Fan Expo, and I've got my cosplays planned out.
Once I finish my Anime North cosplays, I'm gonna get going on the FE ones right away!

Usually FanExpo is a refined version of whatever I brought to Anime North, tweaks here, new weapon there new lightning etc etc, less costumes brought more stuff I can bring home.
