Walk On Cosplay Contest..

ok, so im thinking of entering the walk on next year. you know, the one where you walk on stage, walk off, then hope you win lol

well im doing this cosplay

ill have literally everything in the picture. the vast majority of it is made by me but i dont know if its enough to count as being allowerd to enter.

heres what im doing myself:
-anything armor related (shoulder, left bicep and left wrist things, and leg armor.
-wig
-sword
-brown harness thing around his waist and over his shoulder (also i used sculpy to make the belt buckle)
-cape (sorta. its basically a long fabric that i cut to the right shape.
-altering boots to look as close as i can
-adding the claws on the gloves (the gloves i am NOT making but the claws i AM)
-the leg belts (around the left thy and both calves)
-cut the sleeves off of the shirt and sewd the fraying parts to not fray.

the stuff im not making:
-gloves
-shirt
-pants

this sound like i can enter?

It looks good to me, you might try shredding the bottom of the cape in a scalloped formation, Looked at your DA and the sword looks great.

Do you know what you're going to use to make it shiny? There are some really great metallic spray paints, and using multiple colors can make it look worn, and since is sword is mostly wrapped up it might not matter that much.

The gauntlet looks very well made, so I trust the rest of his armor will look just as well. As long as your costume is complete, I'd say you certainly have a sporting chance. Especially with that sword. Crowds love swords XD

I'd love to see pictures when its done.

Thank you very much, though I am remaking the sword. That one is way to heavy. But I also am going to cut and burn the cape I've just been busy with my friend helping him on his cosplay.

EDIT: Oh, and also, I forgot to mention, I am making the shoulder armer, thy armor, and the left bicep cage looking thing out of metal. I am obviously sanding them so they are not sharp but still..Pretty kool right lol

A good tip is to practice on how to sell yourself to the judges. Don't be so nervous that you step in front of them, say a few words and then run away. Point out things to them that you did that involve skill and point out things that you made specifically over things you didn't make, if there's more then one or the other.
