prettycirclelens.com
There is an ad for prettycirclelens.com on the main page of cosplay.com & I was wondering if any one had ordered from them. I was interested in buying some of the GEO lenses but I have never bought any contacts overseas & I have read the good/bad things about it but I just wanted to know if any one knew anything about this particular site.

Name of Product: Geo (Angel Series) ((Blue))
Where Purchased: pinkyparadise.com (Site is currently down) Product Description:Introducing Geo Angel Blue – a perfect shade of baby blue to make your eyes truly stand out. Geo Angel Blue is fantastic on those with fairer skin for a pale, undeniably angelic look, and darker skin for a more smoldering effect. Bear in mind that if your eyes are already pretty dark, this will not make your eyes pure blue – BUT it will lighten them up so that they look more interesting and mesmerizing. For those whose eyes are light enough to be all blued-up, this is a great look for you, too. Pros: Low price, lasts for 6 mos. after using for first time, no prescription needed. Cons: Dry up very quickly and you're constantly applying eyedrops or solution. Overall Rating: 6 http://www.piecesofcreation.com/imag..._thumbnail.jpg

Lens Specific: Barbie Lens brand
I'm in Thailand right now and I've been hunting for lenses for cosplay since I don't have any. I did buy some Barbielens brand lenses. Website here:
http://www.barbielens.com/home_TH.html I've been searching the internet checking for KFDA approval and whatnot. There have been /hints/ of it and some of the lenses have specific GEO labels on the site so I'd think this place is legit, but I was wondering if anyone knew, for sure, that this brand of lenses are safe before I start sticking them in my eye for cosplays. I don't intend to use these lenses for more than 8 hours at a time (conventions and photoshoots, you know) and they're not for everyday wear either. I'd probably use them once every two months or so (an estimate). For looks sake, I tried them on for a few minutes and I had no real problems other than the initial eye sting and tearing up. They fit nicely, or so I think, since they followed my eye when I looked around and they didn't hurt. But again, before I commit to these, I want to know if they're trustworthy or if I should get rid of them immediately.

Review on 9mm SFX Sclera lenses
I'm looking for anyone who has used 9mmsfx sclera lenses. It doesn't matter which color (though if you have photos of the red ones, I'd love to see them in someone).
1. How comfortable are they? (on a scale of 1-10, 10 being about equal to wearing ordinary circle lenses, 1 being horribly uncomfortable and having to take them out after 10 minutes) 2. How was your vision in them? Tunnel vision? Completely blind? 3. How satisfied were you with 9mmsfx's customer service? How quickly did the lenses ship/arrive after placing your order? 4. How satisfied were you with the look of the contacts? Did they accomplish what you wanted them to? Did they add that little extra oomph to your costume? Would you use them again? Thanks in advance! <3 |

I'd love to request a review of Dermablend. Specifically these products. http://www.dermablend.com/skinconditions/vitiligo.aspx
I have Vitiligo and I was wondering if it works as well as it says on such different shades of skin. It would be really helpful. |

Could someone tell me how reliable this site is?
http://www.prettycirclelens.com/ I've ordered a while ago and still haven't received my order. Thanks in return. Edit: Alright, I received them and they're absolutely gorgeous, just in case anyone has any doubts.

I wanted to see if anyone has any exprience with one or both of these eyeshadow palettes: Coastal Scents 88 Original Color and/or BH Cosmetics 120 eyeshadow palette, 1st edition. I'm torn between which one to get first as I'm not entirely sure of either company's credibility (when it comes to pigmentation and staying power and such).

I know a lot of YouTube makeup "gurus" have the coastal scents palette. It seems that they don't use it as a primary source of eyeshadow, but more for when they need a colour they might not otherwise have on hand. I think the pigmentation is less than high end brands, but probably equal to medium-range brands like Revlon or L'Oréal. I can't say for sure, but this is the impression I got from the YouTube tutorials.

I have a Coastal Scents palette (88 colors) and I love the thing to bits.
The thing to be aware of with palettes like that is that on their own the colors aren't very pigmented and fade quickly. You need a primer to utilize them well. When you do, though, the colors really POP. How long they last will depend on the primer that you use. I'd recommend Urban Decay's eye primer (the one that comes in a tube with a wand) or the green-ish toned concealer from BitchSlap Cosmetics. I'm using the eye primer from Mac right now and I'd say that it's quality is between the two previously mentioned. |
