Does anyone have favorite, reliable places where they buy plush animals? I am seeking a white, fluffy chicken (a la cuccos from the Legend of Zelda series) that does not tweet, make sound, flap its wings, or is otherwise battery/sunlight/heat/whatever powered. (It would be my luck for such a thing to die/operate at an inopportune moment.)

Maybe stores that sell Eastery-things, you think?

Also, does anyone have tips on finding/keeping gloves skin-tight ...?

You might try Noah's Ark or KB Toys/Toys R' Us. They usually have a very large selection of stuffed animals of all shapes and sizes. Your bound to find what you need in one of those places. Also, making gloves out of spandex will usually keep them snug. If you make them just a tiny bit smaller than your hands and arms, then they'll fit better also.
