I was curious if anyone in Band at their school *high or middle* or out of school was going to AWA. I'm having ebil plans of bringing my clarinet so during the Final Fantasy photoshoot, I can play Final Fantasy songs that I can download. The problem is, most of these are clarinet choirs so they require more than one clarinist. I was hoping that maybe someone was going that played clarinet so they could play with me.

If you don't play clarinet, that's all right. I can still find music. Also, orchestra could be fine as well. I just need to see if I can find an arrangement.

If you have music you'd like me to play as well, I could do so. First chair in my band. =3 Anyhow, please please tell me if you're available.

A small group of us played a bunch of Final Fantasy stuff at our last band concert while everyone was being seated. :3 My favorite is definately The Place I'll Return to Someday from Final Fantasy 9. Time Scar is from Chrono Cross, but it just sounds amazing.

Yeah, I'm trying to convince my teacher to play Aerith's Theme for band. xD I'll look at the scores and see if I can find a suitable arrangement for these three instruments. I'll then attach it.

BTW, Final Fantasy X/Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children/*possibly*KHII music is okay right? I may throw in some Naruto if I can find...

Well, there are only four sharps in the first piece. Fairly easy if you mark it and practice.

And there's one in Zanarkand. o.o All you need to remember is that every B is flat. What grade are you in and what chair are you?

I'm a junior and I used to play trumpet. Was 3rd chair for the 1st chair section for Symphonic Band. Now I play Euphonium for Wind Ensemble. >.>

Im a music teacher (middle school with many high school private students), I have my flute or Oboe (which it's super easy to play flute music on a oboe) that I can bring with me, I'm always game for playing instruments at a con. (I have my Violin as well but not sure if I want to bring it all the way from NC with me.)

Star_Angel: Ooo, oboe. =) I guess since we have so many flute players, oboe would be good. I've never heard a good oboe player in my life. xD

Lol that's because you have never met me! lol j/k. But yeah Oboe is just one of those instruments that teachers that don't play it seem to hate. then I will for sure bring the thing to another con!

well, I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to AWA next year, but it's possible.
I'm a trombone player. While it's no tuba, I could play the parts, though might have to bring them up an octave. *shrug*

xD I dunno if I can find any brass parts. Well, I could always find a full ensemble with Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, Trombone, and Trumpet. xD No saxophone I guess.
