Pros, Cons, Comments. I was first contacted by this commissioner in response to a want ad on the marketplace where i asked if i could get these made. I was told a price of $80.50 in all. This commissioner has GREAT communication, and is amazing. Also, this commissioner cuts and dyes their own leather, trust me you can tell when you look at my belts, my whole family even noticed they werent factory made. i will from now on go to this person for all my leather work needs and advise you doing the same. No cons..Whatsoever Final Grade: Mega Ultra A +

Website: http://www.cos00.com/ http://stores.ebay.ca/Cos00-Cosplay Item purchased: 1 KHR! Belphegor costume (shirt, jacket, pants, boot covers) 1 KHR! Fran costume (shirt, jacket, pants, boot covers, hat) Links to picture(s) of your received item: Belphegor:http://www.cosplay.com/photo/3057834/ Fran and Bel: http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/t...t/IMG_9439.jpg Timeline: it was ordered around mid-june, and was received july-august ish. the con wasn't until mid-august so it was fine. [strike]and it was expected because most of the things on ebay take like 2 months anyways[/strike] Pros: the fabric and craftsmanship were great and in my opinion they looked professional. the colors were nice, and everything looked exactly as shown in the picture. communication and the shipping were also good (shipping was free) as questions were answered swiftly and the costumes arrived on time. Cons: for both costumes the pants were too big, and the for Bel his shirt was a bit too short, and looked awkward when worn without the coat. the boots covers were...ughh, well, not really boot covers. they did 'cover the boot', but they didn't really look anything like boots. the end was a bit too pointy for my liking, but it didn't really matter because I had my own boots and wasn't planning to use it anyways. the badge was sewn on very nicely and flawlessly on Fran's, but for Bel's there were a few random threads...it's not like it came off or looked out of place, but you could tell it was perhaps sewn on a bit too hastily. two buttons on Bel's coat came off, but the buttons were hideous in general so it didn't really matter. however their ugliness is not noticeable in photos or anything, just up close. the hoods are detachable with a zipper, but the zipper on Fran's hood broke, though we were able to pin it/sew it back together. Comments: overall, both the costumes were good. the sizing issue just might of been a fault on my part, but I would buy from them again. I wouldn't definitely recommend them, but the costumes came on time, it was it's expected quality, and I've even received a couple compliments on it. I can say that all of my cons with these costumes were anticipated, as the quality of the costumes bought from ebay sellers are usually a hit or miss. I've bought from ebay before, and it was generally the same (it looked good, was sewn nicely, but some things in sizing were a bit off and some buttons fell, etc). Final Grade: B+

Website/C.com gallery:http://www.npccostumes.com/ Character commissioned and series/video game:Link from Ocarina of time. I comissioned a Zora Tunic/hat, waist belt, undershirt, pants, and boots. Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FeOvrc2tAM...ntlets+005.jpg Timeline: I ordered the costume back in mid august, and was told they could start the costume in september. It was finished in early October and I just recieved in yesterday. Everything stayed perfectly on schedule. Describe your Experience: I ordered from her initially because I'd seen some of her previous zelda themed works and thought they looked good. She was consistent in her emails back to me, kept me updated with photo progress on her blog, and was willing to do anything she could to work with me. Overall I think she did a fantastic job. Final Grade: A. She did everything I'd expect of someone who your paying to do quality costume works. I would definitely recommend her to anyone if they needed a trustworthy comissioner. |

Website/C.com gallery: http://www.cosplay.com/member/104280 Character commissioned and series/video game (please include if this was the entire costume, just a jacket, prop, accessory, wig, etc.): Krory, D. Gray Man Wig Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: Ref: http://s395.photobucket.com/albums/p...roryWigRef.jpg Final before I edited it:http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...I/IMG_1356.jpg Timeline (how long your order took to process) Placed the order late June and got it early September (did tell her I didn't mind not getting it till then though so that wasn't an issue) Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments. I got a fast response originally to quotes but from then on slow responses. Originally she promised to send me the remainder of the white wig she was going to order to use the wefts however she hasn't responded to any of my inquiries why it wasn't sent to me with the wig. Due too the length of time she delayed the wig she did take off a bit of the original labor costs but still there was no pride in her work on this wig. From all he wigs I've seen her do I KNOW she can do better. Its unfortunate that the same pride put into her own wigs are not transferred into the ones commissioned to her at all. CONs?? Wig looks rushed and poorly done. I could have done it myself but was lacking time but ended up spending quite a few hours fixing it in the end. I would have been better off doing it myself in the first place. (especially since my group ended up pushing the shoot back.) The spikes are done well but only one of the curly side burns were cut and styled and the white poof weft looks horrible. Its just a leech sewn on. I've had to thin it and style it to get it to look like it moves away from the wig and isn't just a random extension. Final Grade: C-

Website/C.com gallery: http://www.cosplaymagic.com Character: Haruhi Suzumiya Summer Uniform, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: Haruhi Suzumiya Cosplay Timeline: Ordered on October 16, Arrived on October 18. Pros: The outfit looks beautiful, exactly like Haruhi's summer uniform. The fabric is nice, especially the skirt. I could seriously wear that skirt by itself if I felt like it. The shirt fabric is nice, a bit thin but comfortable to wear. The red ribbon on the sailor collar and sleeve cuffs is nice and shiny. The ribbon on the front of the uniform is actually sewn on, not glued on or something cheaply made. The headband and armband that came with the costume are nice as well. The belt that goes with the skirt fits nicely too! Cons: The shirt is a tad bit tight. Though I am a petite person, I was surprised at exactly how tight the shoulders were. When I tried on the shirt, the body of it fit well except for the tightness of the shoulders, to the point where I almost had a panic attack trying to get it off. When I figured out how to do it (there's a button on the piece of fabric where the 'N' is and you simply pop it open or snap it closed) I finally managed to slip the shirt back over my head. I suppose I will simply have to live with the tightness in the shoulders, unless there is some way of fixing it. (Youmacon is only a couple weeks away). Final Grade: I am giving this cosplay (my first ever ordered online cosplay mind you) a grade of A-. It would have been an A+ if the shirt wasn't so tight in the shoulders. I would recommend CosplayMagic but be wary of tight shoulders in the shirts! I also noticed that they DO have custom sizing...except it costs an extra $50 on top of the price of the costume, so if you fit their measurement chart, go for a pre-made size. Also, their shipping is amazingly quick! |

I loved their email team they are great and very friendly thou their english is a little off but you can understand it; it's the common mistakes. Then when I ordered it I have special measurements for I have a different body type and I told them in the special instruances box with all my measurements filled out that I needed to tell them other things about what I wanted on the cosplay since it wasn't on the picture and a few emails back and forth with more measurements and I got buttons where I needed the stomach was showing like I wanted {the special measurements and adds on's where 100% free.} But the sleeves were to long {then again my mom and I aren't the best at measuring.} I LOVE my cosplay and I LOVE this site I would TOTALLY order from here again without a doubt. Also the fact that they had this outfit when NO ONE else did is more brownie points to me. Just email them and talk to them tell them what you want and they will tell you what you need to know without having to even place an order. ![]() ![]() Cons: Shipping was 20 bucks. Final Grade: A++ |

Uhh, actually~
I'm requesting this review from this customer be taken down because frankly, though I have had a bad rep in the past, I have been trying to work on it and I am not letting this person ruin that.
My husband became quite ill in June, I communicated this to all my customers with no problems, except for this one (Go figure!). IN JUNE. She said okay, no problem! She then (from my knowledge in this thread! LOL) found other commissioner, never bothered to tell me and I STILL worked on the wig - just to send her emails which went ignored. I then attempted to PM her on here, but she's blocked that as well. How can a seller make anything right with a customer who refuses to talk to them and not only that, but royally screws them over? Commissioners, do not take this girl's money. I did in good faith and now I'm scrambling for rent (when your husband is ill and in inpatient care constantly, you lose your real life job too, sweetheart!). She paid me half for my materials (and didn't wait for me to invoice her even, so I had to take a hit and put some of my own money toward that). Never mind that I never got paid a cent by her for any of the work put into her wig. If she had simply communicated her concerns to me, we could've worked something out. Rather, she decided to have me find out that she screwed me over by seeing if she was still active in the forums or not. Picture attached is one of the same completion pictures I sent her, just so it's pretty clear that I'm not the one that did the screwing here. Least she could do is change the grade (since it may or may not change, I doubt it will, since again, she can't be bothered to be an adult and talk things out with people). http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6212/...a657d0dfb3.jpg I'd also like to clarify that I did not miss the deadline. She had already ordered the other commissioner's wig before I even had a chance to miss the deadline. I was set up to fail by this customer. Quote:

Also, I'd like to humbly request that maybe we have a comissionee review thread, cause it seems awfully one sided here. And my dears, there are two sides to EVERY story.

Cosidering I only changed my PM status a week ago so you can't really blame that I had blocked you. I was not setting you up to fail at all, someone is afraid that they're not going to heard or get anything they clearly start looking for someone else to do it. Which I didn't start looking into LATE August and by September I still hadn't heard from you. Never mind the fact that I normally get two wigs anyway and I still had and have intention to pay but I couldn't contact. You gave me your email to send you the money and didn't say anything about wanting to invoice me until the money had been sent. Since you like to disappear without answering anything then someone if not both are at fault. No one else has had any problems with me and I'm sorry you give me to much credit I'm not cleaver enjoy to "set someone up" nor do I have the heart since most of my friends due commissions and I know how hard it is on them. [Edit]: found the email since on the 11th of this month (October).

What I see people do in the past is exchange phone numbers and this prevents the not being able to contact aspect. Considering your past feedback you might want to do something other than email for the time being. As far as asking for it to be taken down don't think that's fair considering grades can be changed and all you have to do it talk. Since it seems she answered you didn't have to say a thing rudeish seeming that this could have been just your way of getting her attention in a polite manner. Then things could have been worked out by now it might be a little harder. Plus the fact you could have just sent the bill and then if she has her other email connected she would have gotten that noticed. This could have been her way of getting your attention and you could have replied with a simple "you pm is blocked can you fix that and we can discuss this." @Sirius Alrightly now to tell you what you did wrong because this is just insane scenioro over all). First of all you're as odd as my friend with the whole "get two wig things" yeah I know things happen to one so sometimes it's good just to have a back up. Maybe you should have put this in your post in the review that you do this and also make it not seem like you hired her because the person above didn't answer. Not really good on the whole picture here in general. Next off you need to make it clear that you want to do all the communications on here rather than your personally email. I can understand the fact of not wanting to do that but you need to make that clear in the future. I do have an email just for paypal and that seems to work but always need to attach a way they can communicate with you. As far as blocking of pms then you needed to message her one last time and say that this was going to happen and nothing personal against her just the cause of another user and this website and once again give another way to contact you. This could have easily have been phone number or again the correct email. -End rant You both have to communicate with each other for commissions to work. If not you get situations like this and calming that someone set you up for failure if that be the person wearing costume or the person making the costume (not saying it's costume). Now what I suggest is you BOTH act like adults and contact each other without hold what either of you said against each other because it will make things harder to settle. Anyways just seems like a giant misunderstanding and hope everything works out.

Multi-reviews
DO NOT ORDER FOR THIS PERSON!!!!!!!
Barrons costumes or Lollipop_Doll: Bought: Chaps and a Coat. Character: Irvine Was it on time: No Date ordered: September 6th. Date received: November 17th. When I first ordered this costume, the communication was fine. I had paid the full amount, was directed to a facebook page and was told my costume was the second to be done. She claimed that the post office had shipping problems (seriously had two other commissioners at the time and this is the third time I heard this...I will no longer take this as an excuse.) and was going to overnight it monday. Well she didn't. I got the costume on thursday, the day before the convention. In a small tightly bound box when I had paid a decent amount for "shipping." He tried it on and it was TOO.SMALL. Made to EXACT FIT. NO ROOM FOR MOVEMENT. The sleeves...the sleeves were too small and barely came to his wrist. The fur trim on the coat was poor quality. It had frayed edges and was coming off. Currently. I'm trying to get in contact with her so she can fix this or refund me my money. GRADE: F Photos will come later. --------------------------------------- Meanlilkitty (Profile ): AWESOME!!!! Bought: Irvine Shotgun FF8 Was it on time: YES She was wonderful! She communicated with me throughout the commissioning process. She didn't mind my pestering her with the progress and provided photos of the finishing product before shipping. Im thankful for her really. Alot of other commissioners quoted me 200$ and up to make this. She only charged me around 80 Shotgun ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- loyalluohong@hotmail.com: from Cosplay.com: Princess Dark- Good Bought: Glove Character: Kuukakus prosthetic arm and band. Was it on time: Yes Precise. Great communication. I ordered a glove that I was told I would recieve within 20 days of finalizing my commision. I recieved it perhaps...a few days earlier, and I was pleased with results. Pricing was alittle ... expensive. 40$ for it. But, taking into account that it was pleather and you want to make some kind of profit...enh. I was overall happy : ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lolita_blackwell@hotmail.com : from Cosplay.com Erisaka - GREAT! Bought: Jacket Character: Yoruichi Great communication as well! I ordered a jacket from her. It fitted the detailed photos down to a T ! The Yoruichi jacket was pre-made. But it looks fantastic! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cosplaymagic: Good I bought only a Matsumoto necklace which was...cheapm but I ended up paying around 20$ in the end because of shipping. However, the product looks just like the photo. I got the item within 1-2 weeks. No complaints. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hellocosplay : GREAT!! I ordered the Yoruichi wig on Jan 26 and paid for 'the best' shipping, I recieved my item on today! Feb. 5th. The wig is of great quality, and for those who are unsure about the wigs on this site, rest assured : ) They are trustworthy! And despite chinese new year, they continued to sell wigs, accessories, and t-shirts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lightinthebox/Sellerkey.com (Same site) : BAD EEXPERIENNCEE First they clear payment. Then once they've cleared payment. They go into the 'sourcing' process. Which means they take 3 to 4 days to do...whatever it is. Then 1 to 2 days for quality checking. However...sometimes, its a 50/50, they will take longer than that to deal with your item. I've heard bad reviews regarding the technology. Such as it not working, faults, etc. And those who have tried to return it often did not get word back, almost like they where avoiding in some way? They also are not at fault if its not up to the quality...huh. Jan 13. I order my wig. It declared 3-4 days of processing... Jan 26. Still processing. I get worried. FIRST: I contacted them via Livechat, Mark. asking where my product was. THEN: I was told it was in packaging. SO: I waited a week or so, still no change in status. I sent in tickets that where then answered a few days later. Though theyre supposed to be answered within 24 hours. AND: I contacted them again, asking...where is my stuff? I was told it would would be sent Feb 3. Feb 3. No change in status. AFTER THAT: I finally get response back from tickets telling me that it is going through 'normal processing'. NOW: I contacted them once more, this time I was talking to Kc. Who told me then...it would be sent next week. Stalling. Stalling. Stalling. I'm obviously still waiting. So in the end, its your choice if you want to order from them. But again, do so WAY WAY in advanced. I, however, will not. Ever. Again. I absolutely despise this site. My friend bought a ayasegawa yumichicka costume, it was delivered in two weeks with normal 5-8 days shipping. PROBLEM: Tailor marks all over the costume. I've seen the costume, and yes, tailormarks on the pantlegs. The cuffs where too thin, and the neckguard was quite small that it caused him uncomfort during the con. -sigh- Atleast he got his order, I shudder to think what my wig might have looked like...though they took the photos of wigs from cosplaystation... I will never buy from this site again. In the end, I never recieved my costume, so, I asked for a refund. They obliged me toot-sweet. If the item is labled "in stock" on the page, more than likely it'll be shipped within the next week or so, with still a 50-50 chance of it being like the picture and quality. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lavenderspikes@yahoo.com: cosplay.com- GREAT! I bought a suite from her. It arrived in the exact time span that she indicated through out e-mails. She was patient with me during the payment trial. When I finally got the outfit, it was worth every cent. I bought her pre-made mascot suite. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- b] kaleidokiss@gmail.com Cosplay.com: Mika - I had her commissioned to make me a wig. Koyori from Nurse Witch. GREAT communication. We talked throughout the entire process of her making the wig down before she sent it. I will definitely return. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- kanzhang82@hotmail.com: From etsy and ebay TERRIBLE. I purchased a wig from their etsy site. It was a white short wig. I purchased normal shipping, I also did so a month before the convention, I ordered it in the beginning of july. I didn't receive the item. They also ignore all contact information from me. I had asked them to send me my wig and they responded once "oh it sent." but no tracking number. Nothing. They took my money despite my asking for a refund. DO.NOT.TRUST.THIS.SELLER. Last edited by smoreface : 12-21-2011 at 11:10 PM. |

Well, sorry but thats a lie. http://www.cosplay.com/showpost.php?...postcount=5524 She blocked her PM's gogo, because she followed me from another site after i blocked her on the AWA forums to send me the PM here on cosplay.com and shut off her PM's so i couldn't reply. The details are in the post.
