Website/C.com gallery: http://forums.cosplay.com/member/23115 Character commissioned and series/video game: Riku's Pants and Vest Kingdom Hearts 2 Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: [Working on it.] Timeline: 2 weeks. <3 Describe your Experience: There was ABSOLUTELY excellent communication with her. She kept me up to date on everything and being the ditz I can be, I made late payments but she was awesome about it and she took half at one time and I gave her the other half a week later. She was very nice about giving me update pictures and keeping me informed. <3 The only problem I have... [I ALWAYS have it so it's nothing new....] the pants are too tight around the thighs and sit too high up. XD Otherwise, they're fine. Postal was fine and dandy! She offered to give me a tracking number and I used it to keep an eye on where my package went. She even ironed my pants and vest before she sent them. <33 Final Grade: A I would recommend her to anyone.

http://stores.ebay.com/human-go-cosplay-costume-store Mai Kirasaki, full costume http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=1052824 http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=1052817 Sent Payment 27th of February, Arrived March 31st Pros: Surprisingly, I like the fabric they chose for the main part of the dress. It hangs rather nicely, and I don't even mind the odd black detailing the put along the hem in place of fading to black. I really like the bow at the back (it was constructed amazingly well) and they really touched on all the smaller details. The color, the leg band, the ruffles, even the detailing down the front (which is not seen in the photos). It's even freakishly short, also accurate with the character design, though not something I personally prefer. I changed the grade from C to B, because I realized I failed to account for how well it was put together. Because of the smaller flaws I didn't really pay attention to the construction because I was simply expecting excellence, and that was definitely received. The main dress part seems like it could have been professionally constructed, and it definitely an excellently done piece. The gloves and leg band are being redone for an additional $10. Cons: There is almost NO shape to the actual dress; as can be seen in the third picture, the only form which is made is that which the stiffness of the fabric creates. The picture makes the dress appear to be quite obviously stiff and fitted from the waist up, but the reproduction just hangs there, pooching OUT, making it wearer look pregnant. Not something I was going for. The arm and the leg covers do not fit. The cloves are INSANELY small, as if made for a child, and give an odd "webbed-finger" appearance. The leg cover is fine until the bottom, where it bunches unnaturally; I could not find a way to fix this, as straightening it out would loosen it. I think it might have been made too long. The ears are cheap and were painful to wear even for the few minutes I was taking photos. They keep no shape or form, and the "tail" accessory which the character wears behind her head wasn't even included. Add: I'm holding the bow in the second picture because it wasn't attached; it's supposed to safety pin on...right. While the gloves and leg band are being redone, the only reason this is neccessary is because measurements for those portions were never requested and they simply guessed when constructing them; had they actually asked these be provided, the extra cost would not have been neccessary. Comments: Over all, a very interesting outfit. Just for general knowledge, this was NOT an eBay auction purchase, but a custom commission. Website/C.com galleryhttp://images.cosplay.com/gallery.php?member=23115 Character commissioned and series/video game (please include if this was the entire costume, just a jacket, prop, accessory, wig, etc.) Yo-Yo hoodie, pants, gloves, and bagpack. Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: None yet, will be put up Timeline (how long your order took to process): About a month. She only worked for a day or two. Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments. She was really nice and did respond on time, although she sent me pictures for reference in the dark so the colors were really off, and I asked her (And payed for) certain details that I did not recieve. The pants had not ONE line of detail, the hoodie was atrocious. Despite all of the amazing things in her gallery, she didn't even try. She even had me pay extra for special shipping because she got it done late. A huge procrastinator, and I saw her online a lot without answers to my PMs, although I did recieve my costume on time with an extra cost of $15. In short, she doesn't care about any costumes other than her own. I was overcharged. ADD:: I did ask for the pants to be redone and a $50 refund.. We'll see what happens. Final Grade: D+

Name of Commissioner: Rain Miko
Website/C.com gallery: http://www.chibifiedcosplay.com Character commissioned and series/video game (please include if this was the entire costume, just a jacket, prop, accessory, wig, etc.): Two skirts - one for my Osaka Summer Uniform from 'Azumanga Daioh' and one for my Enma Ai from 'Jigoku Shoujo' outfit. Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: (To be updated) Timeline (how long your order took to process): I ordered and paid in full December with a deadline of May for the skirts to be finished. Describe your Experience. Pros: To start with, she was very nice and polite in all her emails and PMs. Very quick with them too, I don't think one of my messages ever went more than 2 days without a reply, if that long. There was a little mix up at the beginning but it was ironed out very quickly. She even sent me fabric samples from the two skirts so I could match colors on trim and such. The contract is also a very nice touch. Cons: I'm not sure what happened towards the end but it's all fallen apart. Her communication is pretty much non-existent. She's turned to stalling tactics as well. She stated to me that my skirts were almost done and would be shipped out the weekend of April 10th. It's almost two weeks later and I've still not received my skirts. I'm particularly mad at this because everything else is complete and finished besides recieving these two skirts - and THAT could end up with me not being able to wear either costume, since technically that leaves them half-complete. Update: It's now a full week after my convention. In the end, I made the skirts myself the week before the convention when it became apparent I wouldn't be getting hers. I have had NO communication from Rain Miko since her last PM before April 10th. I am now resorting to PMs daily/emails daily. I don't wish to harass the girl but I DO want my money back, seeing as how I no longer need her skirts at all. Comments: Really, I gave her the benefit of the doubt previously. She stated she was ill and I fully believed that was causing her to lag in commissions. Now? I think it was a convenient excuse for her to half-ass after she got herself surrounded by more commissions than her time-schedule could handle. At this point, a little over two weeks from the convention, I have no choice but to either find adequate alternate skirts or use the time I WAS going to use to relax to make my own. And this pisses me off a WHOLE lot. Final Grade: F. STAY. AWAY. It's a VERY good thing she's no longer accepting commissions. Before I was merely worried. Now I'm angry.

Name of Commissioner: Rain Miko
Website/C.com gallery: http://www.chibifiedcosplay.com/ Character commissioned and series/video game (please include if this was the entire costume, just a jacket, prop, accessory, wig, etc.): 1st commission - Reno wig, Demyx wig 2nd commission - Edward Elric, full costume and wig Links to picture(s) of your commissioned item: Reno Wig - http://www.chibifiedcosplay.com/renowig.htm Demyx Wig - http://www.chibifiedcosplay.com/demyxwig.htm Edward Elric Wig - http://www.chibifiedcosplay.com/edelricwig.htm Edward Elric Costume - No picture yet. Timeline (how long your order took to process) - 1st order took approximately 2-3 months, from ordering till items were recieved. 2nd order was placed in November and is still ongoing. Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments. 1st commission: Pros: The contract is a nice touch, every communication was fast and courteous, and the quality of the product was excellent for the price, as well. Generally an A grade transaction. Cons: No big cons. 2nd commission: Pros: She claims that she will be sending a partial refund with the costume, when it arrives. I may change the grade slightly later on if this happens. Cons: Communication has been nearly nonexistant, and all of it has been initiated by me. The costume was supposed to be for a convention in mid-March, and it still has not been recieved. She gave no explanation for the delay until I contacted her in mid-February, when the costume was supposed to arrive, when she said the costume was done and she'd tried to send it out weeks before and it got returned to her days after. Despite this, she had not yet tried to resend it. She promised again that she'd ship the costume and wig, but that was nearly two months ago, and I still haven't recieved it. Communication has completely degenerated into nothing. The percentages on her website have completely frozen, and are never updated anymore, so they're completely useless. She says that she is ill, but this illness is obviously affecting her ability to run a business to the point where I'm not sure when I'll be getting the costume. Also, we agreed on a photo update schedule of every other week- I only recieved one progress picture for the wig, when I requested it, and one progress picture of the costume itself, also at my request, as opposed to our contracted schedule. Final Grade: C+, an average between the A for the first transaction, and the D I'd give her for the second on its own thus far. Unfortunately, this is an excellent commissioner who I was loyal to but won't be commissioning from again, or recommending to anyone else. She's such a sweet girl, I feel so bad, but I feel that this chain of events is completely ridiculous when I've paid for a service and signed a contract. Even if she is ill, it doesn't take that long to give the occassional email update to people whom you have an active contract with. Edit: I recieved the costume from her (even though I never even recieved a notice that she'd sent it). There was no partial refund as promised for all the trouble. The package was too large for the items, so they shifted a lot during shipping, and the wig needs a few repairs because of that. The costume quality is fine, though she missed a few details that I'd asked for, but the belt she made is simply irrepairable. It's made out of some kind of thick, shiny fabric, and held together only by hot glue, so when I picked it up to inspect it a piece was already falling off, and hot glue strings were all over it. Because of the continued lack of communication, the mediocre quality of parts of the costume, the lack of attention to detail, and the promise of a partial refund that was never recieved, I'm lowering the grade to a D+. She's presently shutting down her commission business and won't be taking further commissions, but I figured I'd change my grade in case she ever decided to start taking commissions again.
