The whole process took about a month and a half.

Pros: Amazingly accurate, durable and exactly what I wanted. The patch I received was perfect

Cons: This one patch was a little expensive, but since I sprung this on her last minute and had her rush, I think the extra cash was totally worth it.

Comments: She was super helpful and just wanted to do her best. She was very nice and willing to work out any problems I had because I have no idea how dimensions and fonts on patches work. The Hag went out of her way to make my patch work for me even if that meant extra work for her. Very awesome. I cannot wait until I have another costume that requires a patch.

Final Grade: A+

Timeline: Contacted by CuteKawaii via an ad I placed on the Cosplay.com Marketplace on February 2nd, Arrived May 13th, in plenty of time for the London Expo xD

Pros: Well, it's absolutely gorgeous xD I thought it felt a bit wierd at first, but that's only because i'm pretty used to wearing jackets that are a good bit too big for me ^^; The stripe design on the back and shoulders is absolutely perfect, and it just generally fits like a glove! The belt pouches are brilliant too, just like the game!

Cons: Weeellll, if I had to say something, it would be that the pouches don't have a clasp/popper, something to hold it shut. But that's no big deal at all :P


Overall: A+, will definitely come straight back to you next time I need a commission! xD

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments: It took a week for them to contact me to say the colour I wanted was out of stock, which was annoying. They were very courteous and responsive when they did make contact.
As someone else mentioned the Pat wig is mislabelled - it's not kanekalon, it's tokyokalon and quite coarse.
I'd like to see them add a different class of international shipping. I'd buy from them more often if the shipping wasn't as much as an extra wig.
Final Grade: B, for the week's processing time. International order or not, they can do better.

Timeline: I am unsure of when I first commissioned this actually because I have since deleted the initial emails. I think I paid back in February. I received the costume today.

Describe your Experience.: What can I say that has already not been said about Cosplay1? Their comms are excellent, they asked any questions they had instead of guessing, they answered my questions awesomely. There was a bit of leeway with this costume as high res and complete reference images of Rianna are hard to come by which have resulted in a couple of inaccuracies, but this is my fault as I am the one providing references, and they're so minor they're hardly noticeable unless you have Rianna pictures on hand and a comparison chart.

They shipped on time and the costume arrived a few days before my deadline. The only complaint I have is that it needs another person to put on, but that's hardly their fault now is it?

Final Grade: A+ for sure.

Although it was only two pieces of a costume, I was really happy with what I received in the mail, the old pieces of my costume was a disaster. I really liked the fabric she choose to use and just the little details like sewing in elastic bands so the arm sleeves wouldn't fall off, that was a plus. Angie was really helpful in offering updates on the progress of the materials, she sent photos so I never doubted what I had commissioned. She seems pretty busy with life/other things/commissions so order a little ahead of time of the con ^^. Overall I am a happy customer.

To kick off the transaction, I bought the wrong wig and was able to switch my order without any trouble from the seller--he was actually apologetic and kind. Shipped quickly though was a bit vague about when he would send it, not saying he didn't send it in a timely manner. Less than 10 days is almost a miracle, coming from China. Not the most thick or most thin product. It's right for the price, covers well and does the job. Color is glossy, bright, and fabulous. I plan to buy from him many more times.
Final Grade: A

ProfessionalOnly also sells under the name CogMarc, which I have worked with before and is just as good, if not better.

Describe your Experience. Pros, Cons, Comments.: So overpriced!! Yes, the site has a wonderful selection of styles, but everything is so disgustingly expensive. Shipping is also a killer. Expect to add at least $10 to your base wig price for outrageous shipping charges. The only reason I bought from Amphigory was for the color; eBay just didn't have the shade of silver I needed. If you plan to buy from Amphigory, don't be on a timeline and be ready for disappointment: colors come and go and are restocked in odd batches at odd times. It's a good chance you won't find what you want. I know I've looked many a time for a wig, only to notice the style only has two colors available. This is not the most reliable source if you're on a budget and need something very specific in a set amount of time. As for the wig, nice quality, thick skin-top, lots of hair; glossy and beautiful. But I've seen just as nice from eBay sellers, sold for less.
