Cosplay Chess coming to NDK

Well as the title of the topic says we're going to be featuring cosplay chess at NDK this upcoming year.

If you're unfamiliar with what cosplay chess is you can check out this,

nifty site which by way of a fan suggestion inspired us to bring the event to NDK.

What we need to pull this off are 32 cosplayers (you) to play the pieces on the chessboard. If you're interested in playing a game of cosplay chess with us then read on and we'll tell you what you need to know.

Things you need to know before signing up
*You do not have to be pre-registered for the convention to participate. However we would ask that only people who are sure they will be coming to NDK sign up.
*This will most likely happen Sunday Morning but not before 10:00am.
*This event should take no longer than an hour and a half. Including Set up, game play, and the award ceremony that will follow the game.
*Players are required to check in on Saturday morning from 9 to 10 in the autograph area.
*Players are responsible for 'creating' attacks/counter attacks to be used against other players. These can be attacks that are from the series, game or made up attacks, but please keep them in character. If you're having trouble coming up with something we can always help.
*Alternatively players are responsible for 'creating' reasons why an attack would fail, should you be on the receiving end of a attack. Once again if you're having trouble we can help.

How to sign up
*You'll need the following info:
~Character
~Series or Game its from
~You're name (The one that will be on your badge, if your pre-registering for the convention, If not the name you expect to be on the badge.)
~Attacks/Counter Attacks and Failed Attacks

*Once you have all that you have 2 ways to contact me:
1. PM me on this board
2. Email me @ cosplay at ndkdenver dot org

Once I get all the players I need I'll email you back with your position.

That sounds like so much fun! When I thought of Cosplay Chess I thought it'd be a lot more boring...

Just so everyone knows the cosplay chess game is now full. I still have to hear back/get in contact with three people, if I don't hear from them by Friday I'm gonna plug in the three others who emailed/pmed me wanting in.

So soon I will have a list of people who are playing and what pieces they are. Yay!

Once again If I missed you let me know ASAP! If you're changing your character let me know ASAP! When I say ASAP I mean within the next week. Also make sure you get a list of attacks and failed attacks to me if you haven't already.

And I just got back from running wizard chess, which was a blast by the way. ^.^ So I started the piece lottery by picking out several characters to be Kings and holding a little lottery for them. For the queens I dumped in all the female characters into the lottery because there wasn't that many of them.

So without further adu, the Kings and Queens:

White King: Yondaime
White Queen: Princess Daisy

Black King: Balthier
Black Queen: Matsumoto Rangiku

EDIT: Sent in the rest of my info ^_^ I suppose I'll have to brush up on my German >.>;;; Er... Especially seeing as I don't know any in the first place XD The first bit is from episode 2 and the second is a piece from episode 7. Yay for subtitles! XD

(If anyone speaks German, drop me a line please! Dark has a fairly long line that I stuck into Babelfish and I can't make too much sense of it O_O)
