bought a walolita dress turns out to be a top

Is there some sort of bottom that I could put with a wa-lolita dress looking top? A friend suggested black pants..someone else suggested a skirt.

You *could* wear pants with that, but it wouldn't really be lolita. A better bet would be to use a skirt, mabe tiered or ruffled or even just a simple trapezoid shape. Wear a nice petticoat underneath, and make sure your skirt is not too much above or below knee length. You may also consider adding some black lace trim or ruffles to the top if you want to make it more loli-ish. However, it seems like left alone it could be very versatile; you could dress it up with frills for loli, or wear it with pants or a long black skirt for a more elegant street look.

I think you are better off with a skirt underneath with a petticoat if you still want to stay within the wa-lolita fashion... Here are some examples where the dress is basically a top and the models are wearing a black skirt underneath.. Pic1 & Pic 2

I would say my first instinct would be to forget about trying to build a lolita look with it and just wear it as an ordinary top with a nice pair of jeans, and maybe either black or gold shoes.

It would be a very bold and eye-catching fashion statement in a casual setting.

That's a lovely top. I would suggest making a black skirt to match. But I would suggest making the skirt plainer so the top stands out more.

I agree..you could make a black skirt to match it...maybe adding accents for got to it so it ties in the top to the bottom

petticoat and skirt definetely. Has to be a little poofy-ish so it'll lift the top up a bit. A top that's so long wouldn't look so hot with a skirt...so my your best bet is with a petticoat. Wear it with pants if you don't feel like dressing up all loli-ish.

Yeah, I think its kind of two in one, you can wear it casually with some pants or lolita with a matching skirt. It can honestly go either way.

Wow, I didn't notice that the first time. Good eye, there!

To the OP, if you can, try to switch way the sides are. You want the right side of the blouse on the inside. The way you have it in that picture kind of implies you're dead. Does being dead fit into loli?
