Classic Lolita

Hello, just wanted to start this off by saying that everyone that hangs out or helps out here is soo nice and generous. =3

Classic Lolita. So I've seen and heard this term before, in various forms, and sites, but I have yet to see an example. Might one of you ladies, explain this to me? It would be great to see a company that vends it and a loose text defenition, I've read that houndstooth works for this style, anything else? Thanks soo much.

Oh Lolita Handbook, such a savior. Here are a few brands though: Mary Magdalene, Victorian Maiden (though it's sub-brand, Beth, is more casual and sweet than classic), Innocent World and Juliette et Justine.

I love Classic lolita, it's better for people like me who are a bit older and looking for something more mature. I also hate frills and lace ^^; It's a style that lets you be an aborable lolita and still have a rather adult look.
