Unhappy Suggestions??

I wasn't sure where else to post this^_^;I was asked by my "local anime" store to help them pick out a couple of J-Pop and J-Rock bands for them too stock up on. I need a little input. All I got so far is Utada Hikaru and Do As Infinity. (I only listen to classical music:P) So...little help? Please?

BoA, Aya Matsuura, Drugstore Cowboy (rarity, but a good band), Kemuri (japanese ska ^_^), The Pillows (they have stuff other than what was on FLCL and its good), Shiina Ringo (but she hasnt done anything new in a while)... I guess thats all unless I felt like throwing Utada Hikaru in there again... wait... I did.

Actually, XLainoftheWired, Shiina Ringo just released a new album last month.....

You might wanna add Globe to the list, too(though, sadly, they're not as popular as they used to be )...Also, some other popular artists are Hirai Ken, SMAP, Arashi, Mika Nakashima, B'z, Yuzu, Koda Kumi(she did the theme for FF X-2), Day After Tomorrow, Tommy february6(the lead singer of The Brilliant Green's solo project), Zard.....Um, that's all I can think of right now...

Though, from what I've observed, the Japanese music most anime fans like is Visual kei J-rock(mainly Malice Mizer, Gackt, Dir en Grey, etc.). Also, Hamasaki Ayumi, Utada Hikaru, L'arc en ciel, Glay, pretty much the whole Hello Project(Morning Musume and all the side groups such as Mini-moni and Tanpopo) seem to be popular, too...

Hikaru Utada (or has someone mentioned that already) I'm surprised how many people know about her here already.

Oh and X-Japan! The Media Play here used to cell X-Japan CDs when they were in their prime (early 90's) but sadly, no longer ><
