@: idiot-inc: Thanks! None of it's finished alas but working on it! Lolita is such a cute form of dress although I'm most definately more of the classic and gothic side than sweet. Which dress are you getting/thinking of getting and are you on lj at all as there's a large lolita collective there.

The handbook is invaluable if you want to be accepted by most lolitas as it's a very carefully structured fashion with very very specific rules. I am very bad at following the rules. Lol.
You must post pics though! I love seeing lolita and aristo coordination pics. ^^

I guess so, but it is helpful for beginnners, I certainly didn't know you needed to act polite and all that before, but I'm already pretty well-spoken (I have no idea why I can't speak like a normal teenager T.T, like, init tho?)
But yeah, it offers helpful tips and such things like that I guess. I never knew there was a type of shoe called Mary Jane before I properly learnt about Lolita, I just thought it was the name of a Spiderman character! But MJ's are very cute ^.^ I post pics on deviantart, but I hate cosplay.com's gallery thing, it's really weird.

Hi everyone. I just joined and idiots-inc told me about this UK section. So here I am.
I live in Birmingham am married with two grown up kids, so very likely I am the oldest one here. Well that doesn't stop me enjoying cosplay. I have not been down to any of the London shows yet. I went to the Telford show but this year it didn't seem to be on the same time. I hope I didn't miss it! |

I'm 16, in Airdrie- near Glasgow (for now ) and started cosplaying at the start of the year.
