Technically yes. Even though last year's price for the whole Expo was numerically more dollars, you had 4 days. And even last year's 4-day price was the same as if you paid for 3 days because you got the 4th day free. (No I don't know how I remember all of this!)

Oh, I totally forgot to mention this yesterday! I was on this Disney Pins forum and I was looking at the sneak peaks of pins that DisneyStore.com plans to release in the future. One of the series is Pirate Coins which is a pirate-dressed Disney character on a coin background, and of course first thing I thought when I saw the Tinkerbell one was "that outfit looks awesome." http://s7disney.images.go.com/is/ima...hopping/513650

And just in case you're interested in the other pins: http://dizpinsboards.yuku.com/topic/...ks-08-18-.html

for D23?? I'm looking at it and it's not too bad. I mean, here's the thing. Disney is legend. I believe that meeting the stars of Disney films, animations, shows along with the geniuses behind the scenes is bigger than current stars on Heros and jib-jab like that. Also they introduce upcoming events, films, attractions, etc there as well as show if not the whole thing then previews of some upcoming things. It also shows off what the good-old days appeared to be. You meet the voice actors that have voiced characters that you have been raised listening to and seeing.
How Comic-Con is for die-hard gamers, comic people, and "nerd" (i don't hate, i love) Disney Expo is for lifetime Die-Hard Disney fans. mostly filled with celebs, disney fans, and animators D23 Expo is really fun. Last year it was well spaced so it didn't seem crowded at all.
I've never been to Comic-Con but I would take D23 expo over cheek to cheek sweatiness anytime. lol

D23 does cost more but I'm so torn between which one I want to go to T.T

Musical- Damn you, -adds to list-

Soo I bought my Jasmine swim suit stuff today along with a new feathery fan for Lottie (3rd fan XD). I'm going to try to finish Belle today and start Jas tomorrow 83 I'm excited
(I spent $50 today..I'm sad at my shopping impulses)

Which fan is your fav?

I use the bottom ones so much, that's why the one all the way on the bottom is broken XP And yes the one on the right says Lottie on it :3

RisuKim's right (although I think you should try Comic Con at least once). Comic Con caters to more people because it's been around for much decades and has something for everybody. This will only be the second D23 Expo and of course caters to the Disney fans. If you really love Disney it's worth it. Like I said before, I was only able to go for two days and immediately wished I could have done more.

@LKD: I do what I can. =]

If you can only afford one, I'd say D23 Expo, especially since you love Disney. Comic Con will always be there but D23 is only every other year.

EDIT: I'd say the fluffy one, although I'm basing it on what Lottie's fan looks like. (It is for Lottie isn't it? XP)

Comic Con is so much more than that! Actually I wish it was more for gamers and geeks. Nowadays it's for the average Big Hollywood fan.

Musical- That's so cute! I actually bought a Tink pin where she's dressed as a witch. I'll have to take a picture to show you. Also digging the Jessica pin.
EDIT: Here's the pin:

Aaron- Yay for progress!

Jess- Next time you see them, could you please take some pictures of these nightgowns? I want one XD

Jill- Make my life a bit easier by making a cosplay list on facebook and/or a cosplay folder like a normal cosplayer.

I think I may have a roommate for Comic-Con next year, so tickets for that has priority if she pulls through. Of course, Beauty and the Beast the Musical opened in San Francisco this month and tickets are 100$ a piece, so I think D23 is a smarter investment in hindsight.

LKD, I vote for the fluffy fan and the second Padme outift you have on your list, hah. Like seriously, I'd kill to see it done, I love it so much.
(PS, May I add you on Facebook~?)
My mom also gave me a grand sum telling me "it's for what ever pretty fabric [i] want to buy", now I've gotta determine who to pick from my own cosplay list to make next. Eek!

@Ben: Cool Pin! I guess I should make a cosplay list too.

@LDK: I loved those fans you got. ^__^ Nice choice with the fluffy fan.

@Faraday : Wow I didn't even know about D23.

@everyone: Question for anyone, do you think I should do another Disney cosplay or anime cosplay. I was thinking about doing Tiana's Royal wedding dress or doing Yoko Kurama. Don't really now, since I finally got my check today!

@Kasin: Don't know about that one, cause I know my parent won't approve of the gothic lolita. -__- Thanks for the suggestion.

Cookie- I think I already told you that I want to see Tiana's royal wedding dress, but you can cosplay whoever you want. Since we'll be getting into cooler temperatures in the next few months, you might want to keep that in mind.

And I was able to scan and upload the rest of the pictures from the paper doll book for you ladies, Kasin, and Aaron to look at and add to your cosplay lists if you want. I know I already added some of Jasmine's outfits XD

I say go with which one you want to finish/wear first. What I found out was, there's never a wrong time to wear Disney. I know it's not much advice, but what I'm saying is if you choose the anime you shouldn't feel regret about not doing Tiana's dress.

Oh, and I just found out how much the Queen's box at Comic Con was: $799. X_X
