Furie- If this is the seafoam dress you're talking about, then it has my vote for MNSSH~

Sasha- Do Franny Robinson!

Well, it looks like I have all my supplies for Merida ready to go:

I cut the pattern earlier today, so once I get back from my weekend adventures, I'll be able to start cutting and sewing.

Kiggi - Ok good! And yeah I spent a good 3-4 hours on Flickr earlier today and found a ton of awesome ref shots. I think I have it figured out now at least somewhat. LOTS of fabric X.x

Cait ~ Dat wig though D: And no one will know who I am xDD I want to a group for that or something. lol But you did just give me a great idea on who to do!

I'm going to finally make Fawn! I have the wig already and I just found a new (and pretty awesome) wing tutorial!! Now I just need to figure out which of her outfits to do. Probably either her standard or summer one.

benihime, watch out with that pattern, the neckline tends to do funny things.

Cait - I totally missed your Merida stuff last time I read your post. You got the crown too?! I have one too It's awesome isn't it? (though if its metal like mine I'd definitely suggest putting a small strip of craft foam on the bottom of the front part. It gave me a pretty bad headache when I was wearing it all day. I guess I need to get started on Elinor (or even Rapunzel's mom. I promise it's still going to happen!!!!!) Also once Metro's over. Sewing party?

Sasha- I mean the one King Triton puts her in at the end of the film when he turns her human just before she gets married ^_^ the uber sparkly pwetty one lol I may now have to make Tink just for the sheer hell of it as I don't have an event to wear it at... but then I think maybe I should use the fabric for the Enchantress from Marvel's Thor comics... but it still requires stuff bought for... maybe I should just make Tink for the summer lol

Beni- thats the one I mean yeah!! I'm definitely going to make it for DisneyWorld/MNSHP I decided that a while ago as it will be light to pack away, comfy to walk around in AND slightly ore original than her blue town dress loooool! Love the look of your supplies for Merida by the way! I'm just being picky on which fabric to buy... as I refuse to go down the purple route as it's actually light blue with a purplish tint and only looks purple in that one screen shot... i cant find the perfect fabric for it lol. Like all my Ariel cosplays I want it to be perfect lol

for those who haven't seen them.. here a couple of pics of my Kida and Vidia cosplays guest starring my friend as TinkerBell:

and so you all can see how big my wings were on:

Elycium- Thanks for the warning! The picture of the neckline on the envelope looked a little weird.

Sasha- Arda's Malinda might work with styling, although you're right about how it would work better with a group. And yes on the sewing party and the queens!

Furie- I adore your Kida! That Ariel dress is probably my favorite of her's and I considered making it once, so I had some fabrics in mind. If you want, I can pick up some samples and send them to you with the information. If you like the material, just send me the money and I'll get it for you

Here's an in-progress shot of my Merida (its almost done). Alas, my cellphone takes horrible indoor photos, so the colour isn't at all accurate to what it really is ^^;

Beni and Aurora- thanks guys for the kind comments on my Vidia and Kida!

Aurora- I love my Vidia photos so much lol My friend even filmed me and my friend having a fairy flying race round the excel centre (the place the event was held) for lol factor and its soooo funny! Its on my FB.

Beni- Ooh that would be AMAZING if you could!! I'm having so many troubles with the perfect fabric over here in the UK.

Elcyium- love your Merida progress!

Talking of Merida, I saw the new Brave merch in the disney store today, they had a animators toddler doll of her! It was sooooo cute with the attitude-esuq pout on her face! Adorable! I love the 12" doll and the plushie and the bear cub plushies.. i even want the quiver and bow set they have looool

FuriePhoenix: Love your Kida costume! Vidia's great too, though I'm unfamiliar with the character

Rapunzel dress is going really well: jut basted all the piping in (can't sew it down until I get the thread)

Maltese, your bodice is looking great! Can I ask what pattern you used?

Elycium, I used a Burdastyle pattern which I altered by raising the bust and moving the lacing to the front instead of the back
http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/092011-bodice
I love Burda patterns, they nearly always fit me (sometime a bit large at the arm hole)
