Cait-- Yup-- I'm Rarity. I finished Spike last night and Pinkie Pie tonight. Rarity and Hoity Toity (hubby's costume) are mostly just thrown together-- no sewing (well, his includes his hand sewn Fujimoto shirt and tie). I did make jewelry for Rarity though. I have the fabric for a gorgeous dress, but it'll have to wait.

Ahh all those costumes look ACEFACE!!!! Should be getting my photos this week of me and my friend has Simba and Scar when they get home from expo!

Kojiro: Jack was really excited to see us! At first, we walked past their photo op area, and he caught a look at us, and started yelling at us "Don't do it! Trust me, it's NOT worth trying to take Christmas!" and things like that. And then later, after we got in queue to take pictures with them, Jack left his area, came around the queue, and scared the living heck out of me, and walked away triumphantly xD! When we finally got our turn to meet them and take pictures, they were very excited and nice, asked about how I made the beard, and when I told them I made it of fur and spiderweb (true story), they got super happy and started looking through the beard and hat for black widows. Jack in particular seemed really excited, Sally seemed a bit....... drunk o.O LOL! Not that the performer was drunk, but her portrayal of a ragdoll came more across as 'girl who couldn't hold her liquor' than 'ragdoll' xD! They were both VERY gracious and interactive, and seemed very happy to see us though Kiggi- I just couldn't pass up doing Sandy Claws!! I've seen Jack Skellington cosplays GALORE, but I personally had never seen anyone do Sandy Claws before :3 It also really helped that my husband has the PERFECT physique for Jack (6'1", lanky, VERY slender, and overall inherently creepy :P), and the Sandy Claws outfit really flattered him :P! |

Omg I had soooo much fun as Simba yesterday! Photos will be up tomorrow but for now.. I have a Mr. Damon Salvatore to perv over for the next hour LMAO!

Lotte- Love the Jack and Sally. I'm glad you guys had fun.
 I'm still working on the embroidery for my Rapunzel, but I've been itching to start my costume for Costume Con in May and I decided to start on it today. I've already got the linning for the top done, with the exception of a couple of tweeks, and the under skirt is 90% done. I'm keeping this costume a secret as I have some serious competiton (at least amung those I know personally who are going) and I'm not sure where they lurk online and I want to surprise them at con.  Sadly it's not Disney, but it's something I know a couple of you guys are fans of and I will give you a teaser when I'm done.

Lotte ~ LOVE your Jack and sally!!! Sorry I've been so mia. Kind of just lurking. MNSSHP was a BLAST! Had some really awesome interactions with some of the characters. Jessie (Toy Story) loved my Belle dress and Tinkerbell thought I was a Wendybird xD And I got to meet Peri!!! HDOIFHS the actress was so adorable and perfect!! She REALLY knew her stuff! And the Snow we met was really sweet and awesome and sounded JUST like the character (and kind of makes me want to cosplay her >.>) We had this adorable moment with her:

I'm working on a Taffyta cosplay, but it won't be done for the premier! D: Missing shoes and green fabric for the hat/collar on jacket.
I have everything else though. Need to paint the stripes on my tights, add the trim to my dress (Which I'll make a new one later on!), add the stripes onto my jacket and fit my jacket to me. And make the hat. I'm very excited for the movie. Also Benihime, I meant to enter that contest but forgot! D: /Disappointed.
