Decided too soon: this morning I figured out a good base for my wings! And it's not too uncomfortable. I just took a small, hot-chocolate box, cut off the top and bottom
.. then hot glued my poster-board wings to the sides of it (the sides where the ingredients usually are.. lol..) ..then stapled the front and back of the box together in the middle to make it more sturdy. Next, I hot glued some material to the back of the box, leaving some fabric above and below the box - then, I just safety-pinned the fabric to my shirt (above and below the box) to hold the wings against my back.. Fairly easy. Now I can make decent butterfly wings, if need be..  So, I can make pics of both designs and see which one I like better.. lol..

stars- That sounds neat! I think I'm going to pin one to my wig, another to my shoulder and just carry the third? Something in those lines XD I'll try it out if not I'll go with the leash idea. I spent all day yesterday making the pattern for her dress @-@ most complicated thing ever lol Also drew out the hem design on a template which I'm going to use to cut out said design.  It's more simplified and squished since I had to make it proportional to my skirt and easy to cut out =3 So excited!!

Well, I took a break from preparing the house for market and started making my shoes for Belle's ballgown. I had been looking for shoes since I decided to make the ballgown, and never had any luck. Curse Disney for their matching shoes. Then last week it hit me, why not find a pair of shoes I like and use gold glitter to make them appropriate!
While I was at Walmart today, I found a pair I like, and although it's kind of a pain to glitter the accent, I like the way it's turning out. I have the first coat of glitter on, and will probably do another two coats before sealing them. Belle's Shoes - Top Before Belle's Shoes - Side Before Belle's Shoes - 1st coat glittered So excited to have done something costumey again!

Stars - Thanks, and after letting them dry overnight I now see more of the Iridescent glitter I mixed in with the gold and I love them even more.... Makes me want to wear them now!

Guys guys guys!!! Something REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY exciting is gonna be happening tomorrow for me and a couple of friends!!! Unfortunately..... I'm not allowed to say what it is as I'll be breaking a contract if I do.... but it is to do with me being Ariel again!!

So I've been slowly thickening my Ariel wig and restyled my bangs yet again... how this wig is still in decent condition I have NO idea!!! It's for tomorrow, as something super exciting is gonna happen but unfortunately I'm not allowed to say what it is as it will break the contract deal. I think I'm officially doing Kuzco for Halloween/next year(I know, I plan WAYYYYYY in advance). From the people I've told everyone seems to really love the idea and I love the movie. XD
@kiggi- My suggestion would be newborn Tink. I've never seen that version done before.

Newborn Tink would be adorable! I think finding material for it could prove challenging, but if you've got that figured out, go for it!
I like the second one a lot too (very easily recognizable as Tink while still being unique), but it might be a little warm for summer, yeah. The nice thing about that one, though, is that you could also re-use just the dress by itself with some flats to double as a default version Tink!

Finally got a progress pic for Jane.
 I'm experimenting with using an undershirt instead of adding a collar to the dress. I'm worried that will mess up with the zipper. I need a second pair of hands to make the base skirt. My dress form is too short to wear the hoop skirt and yes that's it in the background.

I thought about cosplaying the new-born Tink many a times.. I just haven't gotten around to it.. But I've got a very cute skirt for it, I just need to get a decent top.. and I'm afraid it has to have straps across the shoulder - I'm not that brave.
