Ariel is officially 100% DONE! Omggg This thing has been a headache. xD I wish I had time to thicken the wig before Mega but I'm just going to have to deal with it. haha

Hey guys! Sorry I've been on lurker mode for awhile. Life's been kinda complicated lately.
I love everyones progress especially LKD. Dang girl!! I finally got my Rapunzel skirt embroidered along the bottom. All I have to do know is finish up each side and I'm done with the skirt.  I wish I was making more progress on my May costume but hand sewing is very tedious and I'm having a hard time focusing on it. I wish there was another way to do it but this skirt can only be done this way. I've got a couple of days off this week so I'm gonna try and take the time to just focus on that and get it done. I'd love to make Vanellipe for my April con but I'm not sure I'll be able to afford the materials to make her.  If I could find a cheep hoodie online that would be a start but I also have no clue how to do her tights so it's probably just as well to focus on my May convention.

Hello Everyone,
So I have decided that I will be Cinderella sooner then planned since I will be getting money in Septemeber to be able to pay most of it if not all of it off but I'm having a hard time deciding wich one to use since I have seen two that I like alot. So I'm wondering if you could all help me out on deciding wich one to ask to be comissioned for me sometime once I have qualified for the study that pays out in Sept wich starts in 2 more days. As for myself: Almost done! http://i.imagebanana.com/img/wgwmrlr...t_20130310.JPG I still need to sew the belt and add the buttons to everything to hold it in place, but I'm really proud of it, especially the blue silk turned out pretty good I think  (as for someone with hardly any sewing experienc *cough*)

Sasha - Yeah I like the 3rd picture one as well can't tell she's wearing a sparkle overlay unless you close up on the photo wich I had to do to see it.
I think that's the one I'm going to be going with cause I really like it other the the first and second photo wich I really liked untill I seen the third photo wich I like even more.

So pretty! You're beautiful, as well. *.*Sasha- Congrats on finishing Ariel! All your progress pics look great; I can't wait to see shoot pics! LKD- I'm loving your Merida!! It's going to be soo epic! I bet cutting out the designs was a pain, though; I'm not looking forward to doing that. I can't wait to see everything all together! I was feeling a little overwhelmed by all the details on Rapunzel, so I haven't worked on her for a little while; I will soon, though! Instead, I have been working on finishing up Snow White's maid dress. Here, have a crappy pic:  Since it was taken I have added the 2 front patches and have sewn on the cuffs. I had to do the cuffs entirely by hand because the sleeve fabric is really thick, and that plus interfacing and the gathers made it hard to manage on the machine. So, I hand-stitched them on, then whipsitiched the inside while listening to Game Grumps (love those guys! XD) Now I'm working on finishing up the lining (with MOAR handstitching!), then I have to find the zipper, sew it in, and the dress will be finished! Apart from doing a bit more distressing, which is my favorite part. :3 Oh, and here's a close-up of the bodice (sorry about my unfinished dressform! I still have to make a cover for it):
