Faraday-
THANK YOU. Also, this dress has been SO MUCH FUN to make. Hacking and slashing at the skirt is so liberating. XD I definitely recommend making it; you get to say any mistake you made was intentional to add to the shabbiness. lolAngelic- You're welcome!

Thanks you two
Can't wait to finally wear it tomorrow <3Well, yeah, the fabric is pretty awesome, but it was also very expensive x,D I also love the colours- though I wish I had purple silk for the collar, but well, pink does fine as well I guess ^^

Mirni- cute rendition of Mulan's dress!!
OHMERGAWD GUYS!! I finally found fabric for Tink's wings and got a blooming bargain!!! I got an entire roll (9metres!) on ebay of silver 40cm wide sheer voile organza that is machined edged for only £6.99 ($10.58)!!!!! I can't believe this entire costume has only set me back $20 thanks to the bargains and crappy budget I've had/found for it!

Suzie - Wow, I love your snow white.
Mirni - What a cute Mulan you make! Furie - Oooh, deals are always the best. I'm finishing the last touches on the house, then the two day drive out to Colorado, and hopefully I can get back to work on Belle's ball gown again. After having worn the bodice a few times I have decided to remake it. I want it to be a little longer and with heavier boning. But, if I don't feel like wearing the full gown, it will be super easy to do a Hipster Belle with it.

Thanks, you all!
I COULD FINISH IT IF I COULD JUST FIND THE DARN ZIPPER. >.<Mirni- Cute Mulan dress! I really like the obi/wrap thing. :3 Furie- Congrats on the fabric! Getting fabric super-cheap is one of the finer things in life. :P Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, I have to go back to school today. :C I know I got some stuff done, but I still feel like I didn't get ENOUGH done. Bleh. Only 6 more weeks and I'm done for good! AND I AM SO READY.

Yay! I used some material from an old black [not knitted] scarf to make a wig for my Mulan, it looks like a hood.. lol.. but very comfortable and will work very well for Mulan.. I'm so happy I figured out a good pattern for wigs!! Now, the characters I cosplay can have the right colored hair.. ^_^

Whew...okay I'm exhausted. Family drama and etc keeping me from working on cosplay stuff, but I did manage to at least go look at a fabric store to get some idea for what fabric I should get.
Though I'm a little conflicted in what to get material wise for the Evil Queen's dress (the designer villain one) Would it look tacky (I guess is the word) to use velvet for the dress? Or should I go with a more flowy kinda material? Ahh hah I fail so bad at remembering fabric names (been so long since high school when I used to have those classes) Since I do plan on going with the dark purple instead of a blue like I've seen a few others do with the designer looking one |

Yes, I'm baaaack! After two crazy weeks, I finally was able to continue working on my cosplays. Girls, you're amazing! I wish I could make those awesome things.
I've started with my Elyon wig, but I don´t know how to make her damn hairstyle. Does she wear a kind of tight curls? http://magalie.lopez.free.fr/witch/elyon/elyon6.jpg Merida is going to have a recurled wig with some new wefts and I'll try to finish the blouse and the dress by this week. Then, I'll start with Elyon and Eilonwy's dresses. And I've decided to be Citrusella from Wreck-it-Ralph for the next Expocomic.
