World of Warcraft--Consortium members cosplay

I figured this went here, seeing as WoW is not a Japanese invention.

I absolutely love the Consortium folk...and what a nearly impossible thing to cosplay!

They're not exactly corporeal, really, so that's where the first problem begins. Anyone know how I can get that celestial, ethereal look?

My thoughts as far as construction of this costume are as follows: make a unitard and hood out of sheer-ish, shiny purply fabric (I've got it all picked out from denverfabrics.com).

...and that's where my thoughts end. I've got no idea how to go about dealing with those "bandages." Wrapping myself in strips of broadcloth would work, but I'd rather have a permanent costume that I could re-use. The armor pieces have me befuddled as well. I've never made armor of any sort before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

World of Warcraft is a video game, so I'll move this to Costume Discussion: Video Games.

i was wondering randomly if anyone would ever consider these, LOL they're awesome XD

but if you are making a unitard (denverfabrics does have a lot of nice shiny/hologram/etc lycra!) you could always just attach the bandages right to the bodysuit. That way it'll be 1 piece, soo much easier to put on than wrapping yourself each time.

Then the armor...there are a ton of armor tutorials around just search up wonderflex or styrene/plastic sheeting and you should be set. The armor shaping shouldn't be too hard.
