Thats not really what I was implying. I was trying to say more that its been done too many times for something that doesn't even qualify as a song that can be included into a logical anime skit...

I have seen many skits do a lot with different cultures I just didn't think those two fit anywhere near each other.

Caramell Dansen is very popular in Japan, so it does does fit with Japanese shows quite perfectly. So no, what you were implying didn't make any sense.

Even if its popular in Japan, I still do not consider Caramell Dansen an acceptable skit.

You know, to an extent I agree. But some people just don't know any better, right? Maybe it's their first con and they don't know that it's been done to death. I agree that overdone skits are as annoying as heck and should be screened out before they appear on stage, but I don't think hate should be put on those who didn't know better/aren't as creative as some/etc.

What was cute was the caramelldasen line done at Tokyo in Tulsa. ^___^ That's how to do it! Of course, me and some others got the artist floor singing "If you were gay" in response.

Plz no skits though, even though I didn't get a chance to watch the skits at TnT, I was exhaused and certain events from the day had worn me down by then.

Only when its not played in awfull quality through someones phone; even worse when the are on stage as part of somthing else going on and use the mic to amplify it over the room and most the audience rush onto the stage;
The con i was at last weekend this happend TWICE in one day (it was a small con and you cound get onto the stage from the floor).

I guess most people who do overused skits are newbies since they thought someone else's was funny the year before and tried to work their skit on the same concept (or taking the lazy way out of things).

Recent thing that bugs me is caramell dansen. Dammit it's not a skit and combining caramell with hare hare yukai is not a skit either!! >_<

I'm getting rather sick of dancing skits done to really bad taste. Most of those I've seen are just people acting stupid on stage by doing disco moves or pelvic thrusts. Or if they're in a large group, guaranteed that at least one person will stuff up and they try to make it very obvious too that they don't know what they're doing. ey. -_-

I think that parodies are nice, as long as it's a song that has not been done before. I've got a Death Note-based song...but it shouldn't just be a song, but a skit as well. People agree, un? Na no da?

I'm sick of bad dancing skits because I love GOOD dancing skits. D<
I love seeing Hare Hare Yukai done well.
It makes me think, "Those people practiced. Good for them."

Watching people dance badly and out of sync is just embarassing.
