hotel room/lockers HEEEEEEELP!
EEK guys, my group is in a bit of a fix. We're staying at a hotel until Sunday, so they'll kick us out at noon. So we have nowhere to put our luggage!!!!
Does anyone know what we can do? I didn't go to AX last year, so to the people that did, will there be lockers there? ... And in the event there are, I doubt they're luggage/duffel bag sized lockers. ... Eeeeep! I reeeaaaalllly don't wanna skip out on the last day ... that would suck .... heeeeeeeelp!  |

Closing ceremonies usually don't last past noon anyway unless you hang around and talk afterwards. Most hotels will hold your stuff in the lobby for you. If not.. I have an idea. *evil grin*
Now here is what you can do. This is right across from Disneyland and they have lockers outside. Now these aren't big enough to fit giant suit cases, but small backpacks and duffel bags will definatly fit! You really aren't suppose to do that.. but hey! It's an idea.  What me and my boyfriend are doing is just keeping all of our stuff in our car, but I am assuming since you are out of town you won't have one?

yeah, we were gonna drive down, but we have vehicular issues and so we're probably going to fly.
sigh. so the con really won't last long on sunday? there won't be anything planned? assuage my nervousness about skipping out on sunday .... either way, we've got to book plane tix soon. thanks for the disney idea, but i don't think our stuff would fit. i DID consider pretending to book a room at disney and asking them to stow our stuff for "later"...but i wonder if that would work, considering we'd just ask for our crap back and never check in .... |

Well, to give you an idea last year I didn't even bother going on Sunday because everything on the schedule ended at noon. I paid for all four days! All the good movies begin ending that night or early EARLY morning and closing ceremonies are just the guests saying "bye" instead of "hello" like at the opening ceremonies. I'm going to see it this year just because it's closer to where I live, not a total waist of gas, but the last day isn't a terribly big deal at all...

Dude... Sunday at AX is usually dead.. barely any cosplay, nothing to do.. I just spend it saying goodbye and I'm gone by 1 pm. :P Last year I left Saturday night. ^_^;

You can have the hotel hold onto your luggage in the meantime. Just call up the bellboy to take your luggage for you to the lobby. They'll give you a ticket and all you need to do is to return it to them in order to retrieve your luggage.
