Exclamation Fma jacket

I was wondering some ways to get the snake cross on the back of the jacket? I don’t know what to do.
thanks

It depends on what type of fabric you use, as well as how comfortable you are with various techniques. The more popular methods are iron-on transfers and acrylic paint. I went with acrylic paint because I knew my fabric would take it well [heavy twills and certain pleathers wouldn't, though], and I like to put a level of hand-detailing into each costume, for competition purposes. ^__^

I used black, smooth fabric for my symbol. I used a spray adhesive and stuck the black fabric to some sturdy paper (card stock, maybe?), and cut out the symbol. Then I sewed it onto the back of the coat with a stich that gave it an embroidered look (I'm so bad with terms).

I hope that kind of helped. XD

I used a very fine CD labeling marker to trace the outline of the symbol onto the back of my jacket, then filled in the center with a bigger sharpie. I finished off the symbol with the fine-point so that the ink from the heavier pen would not bleed out and ruin the effect. In the end, I was able to get a nice and crisp symbol onto the back without worrying about sewing it on straight, or it coming off mid-con.
