well i was wondering cause if the middle symbol is metal like the ring you can break out the enamel around it and re-enamel it or have a jeweler re-enamel it.

Dei's is blue...I think Kisame's is yellow or something. Yea on costumes that are WAY overcosplayed details count. It's what will get you noticed. And it's what will distinguish you from all the others who just buy 100% of their costume and end up being inaccurate ;__;!
Yeah, I assumed Flower's is white, hence "Byako" or the white, but it doesn't matter, just use your best judgement. For the collor, red should do though.

Flower isn't too overcosplayed, but I think that she will be popular in a few years since she is the only girl and girls who don't want to be Deidara will shoot for her instead.

Yeah I see where you're coming from, but the ring I bought has a clear coat over it. The entire ring's metal (including the symbol).

This is what the ring looks like.

I'll have to play with the velcro but yeah, never thought of that! Magnets might be harder though.

get some big magnets and drill slots/whole/ grooves in your sword for them and put the wrappings over top. and place others on the strap. um i think the rare earth magnets is what they are called.

but yeha velcro is easier.

Well, I'll see if I could possibly do magnets but I'm making it out of foam and then covering it with the spikes and then cloth. Might be too much in the way but yeah, I know how powerful those things are though.

i just used a pair of old white stirrup pants (was like $5 when i bought it) and cut the leg parts off; added elastic to the area that would go around my leg and voila instant stirrups

well, we're talking about 20 year old stirrup pants that i frankensteined.

however, I suggest Blair.com as they are the only ones that I find to be reliable for stirrups. They have many styles and fits, and out of different materials.
And they are fast shippers.

These are the ones I suggest - $16.99

Sadly, no. Which sucks, because every member has a different color, so I mean, what the hell?! But no, unless you know of someplace that does custom metal working or jewelry making that could make one for you, then no, you'll have to make it yourself... I've looked like everywhere for a place that makes the rings in the correct colors.....

I guess this return to the ring topic is my cue to get my ass moving on the 'tutorial'. It'll be up sometime tonight, so just hold on everyone... Though idk, people told me my ring was great, but unlike my headband and hat, I thought it sucked.
