Sailor Moon Wig help
Hi there! I'm going to try and go as Sailor Moon to my next convention. The only problem I'm seeing is her hair. I know how to make Odangos with normal hair but would the odangos work with wigs too? And if they don't then could someone please help me and explain how i'd make the wig?
Thanks so much! If this doesn't work out I'll probably go as Venus. But any advice would be greatly appriciated! |

If you can make odango's on normal hair, she should be able to do it on your wig. Just remember that if you need to use hair spray or gel or something to keep them up you'll have to buy special projects to use on your wig.

You can't just put a normal wig up in pigtails or odango, because the weft of the hair will show at the back and look crappy. Go to the "General Costume Help" section and see the "Wig Pigtails" thread for lots of advice on how to add hair to the back of your wig to make it look nice.
