Ouran Cosplayers UNITE!

Anyone planning on cosplaying as someone from Ouran High School Host Club at NAF this year?

My friend and I are planning on covering all four -nozuka brothers/cousins over the weekend (probably Yasuchika and Satoshi on Saturday, and Honey and Mori on Sunday).

It would be great to get a whole host club together, if enough people were interested. ^_^

I might do Haruhi, and I have some friends that might be willing to be the twins.

I know at least one more person if not two are gonna be coming as Haruhi... I'm suprised I've heard of no one doing Tama-chan yet.

If they were the twins, that would be awesome!

Nice to meet you Haruhi who has friends who might be willing to be twins! ^^

We're trying to do an in character host club panel (if we get approved)... but we only have a honey, a mori, and a haruhi for it so far... T-T

Just to clarify on what two_powers said, there IS gonna be an IC (or, mostly IC) Ouran panel. We've got a Honey, a Haruhi, and a Mori, but most of us are flexible and will take on other parts if needed.

We would REALLY like to get a Kyouya and a Tamaki and the twins, but if ANYONE is interested in helping out, please let us know (post here or PM me) and we'll try to get you involved.

(And, as extra incentive, we're bringing CAKE!)

One of them said that they will go as Hikaru only if the other person goes as well [as Kaoru], and I'm currently trying to get a hold of the other person. I'll get back to you tomorrow. (July 1st)

Hey, this is the friend that is going to be Hikaru on sunday and I will be going as Hikaru (with or without Kaoru)on the sunday. As for the Kaoru, I'm not sure wether or not he'll be coming but there is a possibility he will be there, so we probably won't know until middle week or so. But ya I'll be there so there's one more ouran character.

YAY! So this just means we need a Tamaki (who would have thought HE'd be the hardest to get @.@)... and maybe/maybe not a Kaoru.

The panels is approved, the club is coming together, and box_of_doom and I have finally decided on what sort of cake to bring!
Yes we will be serving cake at the panel (this is what happens when Honey and Mori cosplayers are left in charge of planning this sort of thing

)

As a side note there was a maybe AND a definitely on our Kyouya...
Since the maybe didn't have a costume yet we're gonna see if she'd like to play Nekozawa (as I have the costume and won't be using it)...

And we thought of an amusing way to explain Tamaki's absence if we can't get a (Honey OR Mori (since me and box_of_doom could play the part if someone wanted to take over the current roles) Or Tamaki ) by the 15th...

No... there's just one Kyouya. =P Your information is out of date.

Said "maybe" is probably not coming at all... according to the last time I spoke with her (this morning). So no Nekozawa either. As of right now, at least.

And XD yes. Honey wants cake, Mori's not gonna say no, and it's added incentive for people to come. And leftovers can always be given to the 404s when they come afterwards. =P

We could a put up a sign on the wall saying, "Have you seen this idoit?" on the wall with a picture of Tamaki. I don't know..XD

God, Kyouya's going to be hard for me...not manly enough...XD

Time to recruit another Kyouya! (If I can...*goes to phone*)

Edit: Whoot, my friend is willing to be Kyouya! He said he'd do his fancy white-tuxedo outfit though.

So, I'll go as another Haruhi...and all we need is Tamaki..XD

So... yes. A Tamaki is all that's needed. Or a Mori, if we can find someone tall and willing (our current Mori is short, but she pulls the role off well ^^).

XDDD Actually... the idea we had was having Tamaki caught in traffic (which may or may not be Kyouya's fault). He calls and is put on speakerphone (easy enough to do with pre-recorded ringing and voice work and a CD-player) and says hi or complains to Kyouya or something.... and then we hang up on him. =P
