Lightbulb Millenium Item help

I need help getting/making the Millenium Rod and Puzzle from Yu-Gi-Oh. Well, it's not for me, really, but for my friends who are going as Malik and Yugi. Does anyone know of a website I can buy them from? If not, how bout some tips on making them?

I don't think you can buy any of the Millenium Items.
Last I heard, you had to win some YuGiOh tournaments and the trophy was a replica of the Millenium Puzzle, so it's floating outthere somewhere.

I opted on making them.

Difficulty Level:
Ring > Rod > Scale > Puzzle > Key > Tauk > Eye
They're mostly wood and crazy bandsaw/power sander action so I hope you have that equipment handy. I'd hate to see someone try to sand/cut those by hand. @_@.

I can't help ya much, but my pal Sundance Kid might be able to improve your friend's disposition. Can't tell ya her E-Mail, but I can tell you where to find her on this site. Go to Anime Costumes under forums, than cliq on Inuyasha costume Help!!!!! (that's what she's going as for our upcoming con.) But anyway, she's a complete Yu-Gi-Oh freak (don't get me wrong, she's my BFF) and can surly help in some way.

For the Millenium Ring, it's easiest to start with finding the right hoop. I found mine serendipitously in a store, so I doubt you can find it again, but since then I've seen embroidery hoops that would work.

I'm a big advocate of Sculpy, it's what made my Millennium Puzzle what it is today. And no special tools required - just a rolling pin, knife, paint, and glue, and a little talent.
