Custom Armor- Claymore Cosplay

Ok, I'm trying to do a Claymore cosplay--> ( http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ko-Chan/43.jpg ) and I'm having trouble with the armor pieces. Now, I know the limit of my skills, so I am looking for someone to make the armor pieces for me. I need Spaulders, Vambraces, and possibly Sabatons and Faulds. I would like them to be made of either fibreglass or lightweight metal.

So I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to order custom armor (Good Quality armor).

Edit: As for price, I don't mind spending more for better quality.

You are asking alot, cheap does not necessarily mean good quality. Metal isnt going to be cheap at all. Fiber glass isnt either.

Might want to give a price range to see if you get any bites. reference pics off the pieces you want made is a good start too...

Good place rather than cheap place. I expect this costume will be expensive and I'm willing to pay more for better quality pieces.

However, in all honesty, I'm not 100% sure what is a reasonable price range. I've done some research and most metal pieces that are similar to the ones I want are between $100- $300 (just the individuals pieces). I have no idea how much fibreglass pieces are. So if anyone has advice or info on that, it would be much appreciated.

Time is also not an issue. I'm in no hurry to complete this and if more time is needed to make this costume look better, that is alright by me.

The only thing detailed about the armor is the gauntlets, most of the piece are smooth and probably inter locked with leather and buckles (true to the time period it’s set) truefuly metal if done right will need no paint but needs to be polished afterward and there are fewer people out there that can make armor piece like this out of steel nowadays. Metal work will run higher in price but will last you a life time.

A lot of armor is made out of wonderflex and fiberglass and other components where the finished result is based on how smooth the final primer coat is sanded then painted with silver/chrome spray paint and aging techniques. Even with a top coat wear an tear is always a problem with paint but if you don’t need to rewear this costume for more then a few months (wearing it for every performance in a play) it’s quite effective in both cost and the finished product.

The choice is up to you but you have to ask yourself do you want to keep it as a collectors item (if done accurately I’m sure it would go for a good price later) or do you just need it for cosplay?
