I'm gettin the new Kare Kano, Love Hina, and Mars. And even though I'm ususally anti yaoi, yuri, shonen-ai, etc., I think I might give FAKE a try. I heard somewhere it's really angsty, and I always love a good angst story.

I wanna backtrack and get Mars and Kodocha.

Buut, so far I plan on getting: Peach Girl: Change Of Heart #2, FAKE #1, I.N.V.U. #2 and Rising Stars Of Manga *snaps* Shoulda entered--I hope they have another. ^_^; But they probably won't.

o_O; Wow. I really don't pay attention to American releases anymore. I had no idea there was already that much Kodomo no Omocha manga here. ^^; But, eh, neat. Definately happy about FAKE, because now maybe it'll be a lot more well known and have a better fanbase. The anime's been out for a while, but it's so odd to watch without knowing the backstory of the manga. I've loved FAKE for years. *-* Wheeee~

shit, Peach Girl #2 is out already? I'm kind of annoyed with the new formatting they did for #9/#1...like....why bother to make it seem like a different series? It looks all messed up sitting on my bookshelf and stuff...they made the actual book size slightly bigger too. All in all, I don't mind...it's just....argh to consistency.

Anyone plan on getting Demon Diary? It seems interesting from the descrip I read...and I always love good, dark demony things.

What's FAKE about exactly? =sigh= I want Kare Kano but..it's like at the bottom of my list. :/

FAKE is a shounen ai (boy/boy love) manga about two police offers in New York City. It's got a weak cop story/mystery aspect to it every now and then but no one reads it for that anyway. ^_^; I love the character Dee Laytner. He's my hero. He's all into his Japanese-American partner Ryo. Ryo is too naive to realize it, so Dee never gets any. The kids Ryo's looking after, Bikky and Cal, always get in the way of everything too. Then Berkeley Rose comes in the series and messes up things more because he also likes Ryo, and becomes a rival for Dee. Heh. Oh yeah, then there's J.J., who is totally in love with Dee, but Dee can't stand him. It's really fun. Oh, and Diana... Gah. I wanna read it again. It teaches us that the entire NYPD is gay. (Kidding! Don't flame me for that. o_O) I love the art style, but some people think it looks weird. GORGEOUS kissing scenes. Mau.

That's weird about Peach Girl, though. I'd piss off about the volume change too, if I was following it. Lack of consistency with it would kill my perfectionist way of organizing my stuff. ^_^;

yays! I'm going for Fake, I.N.V.U #2 and I might flip through that erica sakurazaku thing and see if it's interesting or not.

And yes, for Peach Girl #9, they made it into Peach Girl: Change of Heart #1, reversed it to it's original right to left format, and made the book size slightly bigger by a half inch or something. Not that I'm complaining it's in it's original right to left...but it really messes up stuff, like i said. wah.

When the hell is Utena #3 coming out? I've been waiting forever.

Anyone else ridiculously excited over the Berserk release here? I wrote Dark Horse a pyscho letter telling them to fear my petition lest they don't release more than 3 volumes.

Heh. Another Utena #3 complaint. *hugs Utena 1-5 plus the movie volume* This is why I buy stuff in Japanese.
