Viz's new look...
Has anyone else noticed that viz is reprinting some of they're old mangas in a smaller (like tokyopop) size and a cheaper price? I saw the new Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2 new look, and I must it's very nice. Now I don't have to pay like 15 to 20 dollars for viz's stuff now. I can get Ranma for like 10 bucks now! Very nice. ^_^

Ahhh they're sizing them down? Good. It always bothered me to see those huge volumes of Fushigi Yuugi and Ranma. ^_^;; Especially for those prices! I'm too used to the nice little sizes of Japanese manga.

Damn you Viz... *has friggin 16 volumes of Ranma* I've spent how much money on those $15 books and they JUST NOW decide to resize x_X

I'll be buying the Big O Manga 1st volume when it gets resized. It's a good thing that Viz is doing it now, but it finally showed them that Tokyopop was kicking their ass in the manga side of things.

I just bought that ish at Anime Boston...  Oh well. I too am glad they are resizing and enjoy the new covers and all. I went into Waldenbooks on Friday and was so surprised to see two whole bookcases full of just manga. It was so sweet to see.

Does this go for Viz's PULP manga series' too? Because I've been buying Uzimaki (sp?) and I'm almost broke.
I think Pulp is owned by viz. |

I don't know if they are resizing all of their manga, just Inuyasha and ranma for now and any new series coming out (like one piece, yu-gi-oh, etc.).
