on the 18th of august we will all meet at the bus station near the childrens hospital. from there we will head to forbidden planet but on our way stop at the wagamama restaurant(its a ramen shop )
after going to forbidden planet we will go find a nice place to relax and sit down, probably the centre of bristol were thers a nice water feature
the 19th will be the day of bowling this will be taking place in cribbscauseway and is a 2-3 hour event, theres arcades in the place so if you get bored you can go there also if there are people after bowling who don't want to leave just yet then we can go to the mall and cinema.

YAY! Count me in!

I will be cosplaying Zabuza from Naruto ^.^ Giant sword, yay!

Is there an official list or something we can sign to say we're coming or someone I can ring to make sure the plans haven't changed or something? And are we getting the bus to cribs or meeting there or what? I can't drive yet

I like to know where I'm going and how I get there. Damn my lack of spontaneity.

Go as someone with a cool weapon. That appears to be the basis of my cosplays at the moment

I've never had any problems from other people about cosplay. My friends thought it was wierd at first - but now I've managed to convert them. I even took Naruto headbands into school today, and everyone loved them.

It would be great to have regular cosplay meetups.

i dont think you would be able to get any NEW for cheeper than 80, but you could probably find second hand ones if you looked on places like sales on LJ or on ebay.
sadly thats all the help i can give here U_U

Rhyyy speaks the truth, proper goth boots are very expensive and £80 seems to just right. Second hand ones would probably be £50 if they're still in good quality - well that's what my friend says because she loves them and goth boots aren't really my thing because it takes too much effort to take on and off xD

If your really that tight on money then try finding a cheap pair of shoes/boots with a simular chunky heel and make faux leather boot covers and add buckles to them to make them look like goth boots! Boot covers aren't too hard to make, if you look around you'll be able to find some cheap faux leather - I know eBay sells some nice faux leather for £5 per metre ^_^

The Bristol meet looks like so much fun! I might come providing I can convince my parents and bring along my Rei Kon cosplay seeing as it's nice and comfy ^_^ Or my Miki cosplay without the wig [it won't come in time ;_;]
