Hey guys, I haven't checked in in a while so I thought I would see whats going on. Well, I will fully admit that my 2nd Lady DMC4 boots were kinda thrown together after my 1st set from Akon got trashed. But I can say that spray painting the boots does work great! My boots were $13.00 clearance Payless shoes that weren't plastic but did have a matte polyurithane feel to them. First I sprayed a plastic primer and then 2 different outdoor spray paints (this way they don't crack); I switched between layers of brown (w/little bit of gold) and red to give it a cool dirty/bloody look. Dunno if this will help anyone but I would say its worth a shot if you haven't tried it before. I have had these boots for about 7 months now and they are totally good.

WEEEHOOOO I have found boots... finally... other then that triumph I have found I necklace that is perfect for Lady. Now all that's left is to find a good chain to fit it.

That is a good pendant for Lady! You probably don't need to take it to a jeweler, unless you really don't trust yourself with a pair of pliers. If you have needle-nose pliers and a jump ring (those little wire rings with a break in them that hold jewelry together) or a jewelry split ring (they look like keyrings, only smaller), you can just pop that loop apart and run the new ring through the top of the pendant.

Yeah I was thinking about doing it myself and lucky for me I found some pliers that will do the trick. And I found a jump ring from a old piece of jewelry I don't wear. What do you advise for the chain string or should I use a silver chain???

Just the jacket part.. I think the panels on the shirt are a bit short and there's two buttons, not just one. :/

I dunno. I don't want to start again, but the coat is all dirty from the stupid fabric glue I used.

ALSO, I figured out a way to get the boobage belt to stick: put the belt on first then put the coat on. Haha less of a mess that way.. xDD

HURRAY there's going to be many DMC people for Sakura Con. That's really exciting.
Anyone have experience getting weapons across the boarder? I really want to bring my Kalina Ann, but at the same time, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to make it so I can remove the pieces to it to get it across the boarder. Anyone know of a way to dismantle it so it can be put back together so it doesn't look conspicuous? I will be taking the greyhound.

I would use a silver snake chain or box chain -- something that looks smooth and is strong enough not to break if it gets caught or snagged while you're posing.

I have created Lady's signature DMC 4 sunglasses!!! It took me a bit of sanding and cutting sadly I chopped off the nose bridge portion. I might redo them for that reason but still I am soooo excited about these sunglasses and I want you to give me your opinion on how accurate they are.
