In other news, I've dyed, straightened, and started to style the wig for Sync, discovering in the process that wigs just DON'T have as much fiber in the back as they do in the front. I've got it all pieced and sectioned out and I can already tell it's going to require creative placement of spikes.

My friend said she's not a 100% certain if Jade can go, so it looks like you might be able to. I'm sure I'll find out more in a month. I'm just hoping we can find a Tear at least by then ^^;

@Lothlin: Aah! I just looked at the pictures in your gallery of the Jade and Asch photoshoot! They're very lovely!

I'd hate to be an absolute bother, but how did the Asch go about making the shoulder/neck armor? That's the think I'm most stuck on for my Asch cosplay. That and I still haven't been able to find stretchy material in the right shade of grey from the arms and leggings :|

I have pics on photobucket and he'll be at Ohayo, along with my Reever XD;; I still don't have a Lenalee either. All my friends keep backing out doing her.

@Rika-chan: You're not being a bother at all ^^

The shoulder/neck bit she just used cloth for. (And here's a secret, neither her or I used stretchy material for our gloves/boots/leggings. Kind of sucks to get in and out of, but, stretchy isn't absolutely neccessary. )

I'll point her towards here, she can probably answer better than me in the end.

My camera is so horrible. <_<; It crapped out on me after taking one semi-decent picture of Tokunaga. I also know which angle not to hold it at in pictures now, haha..

Aww, he's so cute, Kimimi Mode! I'm not sure where you could find contact paper, but if all else fails, maybe you could try masking tape? (Might or might not be a good idea, try on a scrap first....)

I got my contact paper at AC Moore, but I don't think it was called contact paper. It was originally for covering books or something, but when I asked a saleslady if they had contact paper, she pointed and said that was it. Works, though. ^_^

I'm pretty much to the point where I'm going to rinse out ALL the goop I've already put into the wig and start over with it tommorow. I keep getting weird looping hair things from the hair sticking to the hair glue on my hands and pulling away. It's annoying.

Plus, wigs aren't MADE with enough fiber in the back to cover everything nicely, so I'm left leaving out a few spikes, spreading the hair really thin, and being very thankful that my roomie has dark hair and the mesh won't show because of it.

Sync's hair is like.... shellacked. We've decided that someone played a joke on him and just GLUED it all like that one day, because there's no sane way anyone could go about styling their hair like that on a daily basis.
