Okay, here's what i need:

Shoulder armor (really want non-styrofoam)
Headset microphone (goes over one ear, has microphone extend out)
Elbow length gloves

Any ideas?

If I were you, I'd buy the above. We have a headset that connects to the phone like what you're describing. You should be able to find elbow length gloves at a costume shop or Party City.

you can use the good and old paper mache for the shoulder armor.
the headphone you can buy on sotres that sells computer accessories
and the gloves you can make it by your on cutting fabric on the shape of your hands and then sew it togheter. make it of a fabric that strech, or put a ziper on it

You should follow the advice of those given...those second two items aren't that hard to find...for shoulder armor, depending on what it looks like, you shoulld check out amethyst angel's tuitorial and look at how she made lina's shoulder armor:

hehe the most comfy headset i have is the one that comes with socom ^_^ however you would have to buy the game for that ^^;;;
