Talking Eternal Sonata

Eternal Sonata was an awesome game... I wanted to make a Viola costume, or Falsetto.. Any ideas for the costume or comments on the game???

I love the character designs from that game, even if the game itself is a bit of a grindfest. Here's a tutorial that ought to be helpful for Viola...it's in Japanese but the pictures are self-explanatory:

My friend wanted me to cosplay her but haha, yeah, that's not happening. I don't think I could pull that off.

This thread is sooo dead. Serious sad face. This game deserves a gigantic cosplaying crowd.

I was just thinking of using taffeta or something for my Serenade for Anime Boston (that greenish tan-ish whatever-color-that-is part of it...) this year.....why is taffeta like playing with fire? *panic*

Eh, there is nothing wrong with taffeta, but it is not as easy to work with as other fabrics can be. Handling taffeta is rather like handling satin. Depending on what you buy, the fabric may be prone to serious shedding, and it might not breathe as well as others. It also is not supposed to be steamed (which is what I usually do to remove wrinkles from costumes) and should be ironed on the wrong side... and it is not a "quiet" fabric, rather like corduroy, lol. While it does not bother me, I do know of some people who avoid nylons and taffetas because of the noise, hahaha. All I meant by the fire comment is that I tend to singe synthetic fabrics (sometimes on purpose, sometimes by accident). I went ahead and made my Crescendo costume from bridal satin lined with taffeta for extra body, no singes at all

Just bought the game today and played for 25 minutes. It is enjoyable and will probably tempt me to cosplay from it next year. But I have to wait until I meet new characters...
