I've never been to the Edinburgh one but i can tell you the GA guys and gals are super nice.
When i went to my first meet last october, everyone was uber awesome! Made you feel like you'd been there for years XD
But we do have a laugh though

Tis the random things we do at meets and stuff like plushie pokemon battles

you going to Auchinawa at all?

I'm on the waiting list for Auchinawa. I didn't know about it till relatively recently so was late registering. D:

the waiting list tends to move pretty fast.
Up until last week, my mate was 30th on it and now he's fully paid!

i know i was already t come along to a meet then i had to move back to inverness as flatmate moved in with her bf and i kinda quit my job!
i'll hopefully have moved back down by halloween and then i plan to start attending!

you going to london expo next week?

aww!

wish i could make it to Auchi! i signed onto waiting list but not 100% surtew if i can attend due to cash etc! I know when im back in glasgow i'll make sure to come along to a GA meet tho!

It definately seems that the majority of the cosplay.com scottish contingency is part of the GA. ^^ Lol.

Just found out about Auchinawa there...
Shame it looks full. I was just saying I'd like to go to some cons, and not necessarily in the costumes I already have... Thinking of putting together a Briareos and Deunan from Appleseed.

But aye - Glasgow costume-wearer, here.

Ahaha, and I am proving this theory even more now~

I'm going to Auchi, but I don't know if I'm going to cosplay there. I may do Takeru from Digimon Adventure 02, buuut ... not sure.

This is my 1st post on this site so why not do it on the Scottish Cosplayers thread?

I'm FrAnkie, i wouldn;t say I was heavily into various costumes but I have dressed as MARIO four times since October and I think it's so fun! Twice during hallowe'en. (N.B I grew an actual 'tache for that check my myspace same username) once during new years and recently at video games live glasgow.

There were also 5 other cosplayers at it 4 the competition at the start, any of yous on here, I thought they were tremendous!

Also, if anyone was at VGL, if they have any pictures of the gig please get in touch. It was easily one of their finest shows. U could tell Tommy tALLarico, jACK Wall and the lineup had a lovely time with the Scottish audience.

Anyways, love the site
