Yun Lee SF3
Can sombody please please please point me in the right direction on where to get the hat that yun from SF3 wears. Or even a store which will do a custom one.
I've been searching for a while on site like ebay but I keep coming up empty. Any help would be awesome. Thanks |

I bought a solid blue Quicksilver hat and just added yellow to the bill. I'm told it's actually a Birdhouse hat knockoff he wears, but I've yet to see any resembling cap. Best of luck with the search though.

What did you use to add the color to the bill? Just something like spraypaint?

Originally (because it was my second costume back in '01 or so), I used fabric and doublesided tape because I wasn't sure if it was possible to glue or paint the bill. Now, I'd probably recommend the options I didn't try. Especially if you've got a good enough cut of fabric to the bill of the hat. Painting is good too, but unless you can put an even enough coat or using the right kind of fabric paint, it's going to look sloppy as all hell.

Wouldn't have thought to do it like that. I guess thats the way to go then.
What would you call the shirt he wears? That's the only other thing I am having trouble finiding. |

I don't think you'll be able to find the shirt anywhere for sale, since it's an alteration on various styles. Most seem to call it either a cheongsam or long-tipped kung fu vest/sleeveless jacket with a mandarin collar & Chinese frog-tied fasteners. GoodOrient has some "resembling" apparel, but nothing exactly like Yun or Yang. Though if you're looking for something resembling Gen, Lee, or even Fei Long... they've got it.
