First Cosplay - No Ideas xD

My friend insisted I cosplay with her this summer. It will be my first time and I have really no idea who I could pass for. The friend inviting me to cosplay at a convention this summer suggested I go as Oerba Yun Fang from FFXIII - the only problem is: I'm short. Maybe I should just get over it xD But I would love to hear some of your guy's ideas either way

Like maybe if you think I could pass for Fang, or if there is someone else I could pass for

So, suggestions??

It's a bit difficult without knowing what you like/dislike, could you give any more details? Like do you definitely want to cosplay from FF, or a game, or is anime okay too?

I do enjoy FF a great deal ^_^ Pretty much any game or anime is fine as long as the costume/character isn't to risqué. Not really into the cartoons (Adventure Time, etc)
So I'm open to pretty much any suggestions :3
