Hello all! I am new to cosplay and would like some suggestions for possible characters. I don't mind cutting/changing my hair. I will find some better pictures (when I am not at work slacking off), but in the mean time, just check out the pic by my name.

Hey, I thought I'd give this thread a try before going out of my way to make my own!

Age: 15
Height: 5'2" (157cm)
Weight: 115lbs (52kg)
Bra: 34 C
Hair: Reddish-Brown
Eyes: Blue-Green w/gold (heterochromia =w=)

I'm not looking for anything that bares midriff (I don't like showing my stomach, even if I'm not chubby) and nothing totally outrageous. Keep in mind I'm a 15 year old girl >w<;
I don't have a picture on this laptop of myself...I'll post one as soon as I do, though!

I'd never even heard of Durarara before you mentioned it, but i still might consider cosplaying Shizuo, does anyone have any more suggestions for me? i want as many ideas as possible

Hiiii! I am a super-new cosplayer, so I wanted to see some of your opinions about who I might should try to cosplay as before I make a decision.

I am 18 and 5 foot 8.5 inches, approximately. I have a healthy, average body type: not skinny, not overweight.
I'm not interested in doing any revealing outfits, or crossdressing. I won't do wigs, but I may cut my hair, slightly, or dye it temporarily to fit the costume.
Other than that, anything goes. So what do you think?

hmmm going through all your specifications, if your willing to change your hairstyle a bit I'd go with Yuna from FFX (or X-2 either one) or if you'd preffer to keep your hair longer you could go with Lenne from FFX-2. The costumes arent that revealing, a bit of tummy but thats really it for revealing-ness.

I'm curious for some suggestions outside of my little anime-hub that I'm used to xD seeing as I'm a little behind on a lot of newer series...

Eyes: Hazel. Can't do coloured contacts; I have astigmatism and bad eyesight, which makes contacts expensive enough that I don't want to spend money on coloured versions xD

Uber-revealing: No, please xD
Pierced Ears: Twice. Willing to do more.

I'm also a theatrical design major (props focus), so I really wouldn't mind some prop-heavy costumes...

Other Information:
Hair: Dark red, shoulder length, thick, curly.
Eyes: Right is green, left is blue.
Skin: Extremely fair, almost porcelain.
Height: 157 cm (5'2 ft).
Weight: Uhm... above average? Heh, heh.
I don't really enjoy cross-dressing as I have a large chest... *blush*.
Wigs aren't really a problem, but contacts are. I can never find (coloured) contacts to work with my astigmatism. Oh, and I have glasses. I'm also willing to cut/dye my hair, but really do prefer wigs~
Oh, and no uber revealing stuff please.

For body type, I'm super short at around 5 foot even. I weigh about 125 lbs, so I'm not too hefty.

She's around 5'6" and 135 lbs. Her bust size is 36D if that matters at all. We're big Bleach fans, though I recently (i.e. today) thought about Toshiro Hitsugaya for me and maybe Orhime Inoue for her. She actually grew out her hair to be able to do something similar to what Orihime did in the Soul Society arc when she was in her Shinigami outfit.

Thanks for whatever suggestions you give!
