@Tatterpixie - Thanks so much for posting that. That really helps alot! I may use that to help me with lots of this project, if you don't mind. I found a bunch of hard hats at a thrift store for $1 each, which I used for Sackboy and now Pen Pen. For Sackboy, I also put a lampshade in there as well.

@Seifer - Looks like some of the pics were up early on Facebook. They looked awesome! Thanks for the heads up on the episode. I'll have to go and check it out.

Hi everyone! I'm back in PA and am trying to recover from the trip. I had tons of fun, got so many awesome photos and met some very cool people! (Seifer-sama was one!) I'd love love love to do this again, I just don't know when. I'm hoping to get out there for another cosplay road trip maybe 2014, but I'll have to wait and see.

I leaked some photos on my facebook page because I couldn't wait...but there are more coming from another photographer and the edits will take a little longer. Haaaa! I'm just so excited! Seifer's Youko was AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!!! And the location was awesome. Ha ha ha, we were like a mini-con with people wanting to take pictures of us (well, mostly Seifer-sama, for good reason). Fun times.

I'm already evilly plotting my next JK cosplay...must learn some serious animatronics...

Feel free to take a look at the partially edited images. (Eeep, unless you have an issue with it Seifer-sama. I'll take down the link if you want.)

P.S. You were all right about AX and the X games. It was...pretty sad. But hey, I went for the road trip, not specifically for AX. Just wish X games hadn't taken over. Good thing you all skipped!

@ Seven: Nope, no problem at all! Post away! And thank you for the compliments on my costume. It wasn't as finished as I would have liked, but I am just happy I was able to do the shoot with you. The location was awesome and you two were even more awesome. I had so much fun chatting with you guys! Just let me know if you are ever in the area again, I would totally do this again.

As for AX, I am still bummed to hear that it was so lame but glad that I didn't go. I think I would have been more upset if I had gone and it was a bomb. I hope that next year will be better.

@ Akahime: Shoukei or Taiki would be awesome!! I don't think I have ever seen a Taiki cosplayer before, so that would be really cool. I think it's a good idea to flip through the series and see who stands out for you.

We have a girl who cosplays Taiki at Fanime -- she's in the photos from this year for sure, if you go looking (linked earlier).

But eeee, excited over the prospect of more JK cosplayers (whatever you wind up doing, Akahime, I'm sure it'll be lovely!) and the progress shots and everything! More love for this series = WIN.

ahhh Fanime, good news bad news. Bad news I lost my job, good news is if the new one pays enough I might see everyone at Fanime again.
I haven't forgotten about those pics! D= job hunting has been ruling my life for the last oh 2 weeks o.O; I haven't forgotten I've just... ^^;;; I'm just being a slacker king?
