I'm cosplaying Rude (Advent Children) pretty soon. My major problems are that I'm female, very pale and currently have long scarlet hair - if anyone has any hints or tips to help me accurately portray him or any Turk I'd be very greatful.
Bonus cookie for anyone that can help me customize some cheap sunglasses to better match those silver half-rims he wears in Advent Children! |

Thought I'd pop in here and say that currently I am constructing Jesse's out fit..
I'm about 50% complete just need to finish off the armor and style her wig and gloves |

I have a quick Question for the Sephiroth cosplayers.
I am planning to make original game Sephiroth at some point. I've have figured out most of it but was wondering about the armour. I don't have much room around the flat so would I get away with using my Advent Children armour? I noticed that the Playarts figure is very similar in armour so thought it would be possible.

I don't think there's any significant noticeable difference in his armor between the game and Advent Children. You should be fine with your AC armor.

@Divine Dragon, thanks. I hoped I could as I will be making Dissidia version at some point and didn't want to end up with loads of sets of different Sephiroth armour XD XD.

Wow, I love the Red costume.
I'm planning on cosplaying Zack Fair from Crisis Core. Just starting to get materials together and whatnot. It's going to be my first cosplay, my first con is in 4 months. I'm so excited! |

Hey guys! I can finally say that I shall be cosplaying a Final Fantasy VII character this year at the con I'm going to since my friends are doing it as well. We talked about it and I decided that since they are going as Wall Market Cloud and Tifa, I wanted to join them as Wall Market Aerith. It'll be a lot of fun seeing my guy friend walk around in a dress. :'D |

I just finished my Snow and I'm really thinking about hitting up Dissidia Cloud or AC Cloud. I'm still not that great at sewing but I'm already looking into a shirt and I think the bulk of my crafting will be my weapon, pauldron, and belt/harness. The rest I can just alter by hand. I'm thinking about commissioning the wig... but part of me really wants to do that on my own too... I'm just super bad at styling my own hair >< so doing a wig on my own might not be a great idea either. =P
I'm sure there have been plenty of suggestions in this thread, but are there any recommendations or advice on forums/tutorials to check out? |

and out of Reno and Rude you chose Rude? xD but seriously, you'll need to do something about your hair if you really want to cosplay rude, and if its already long that will probably involve cutting it considerably shorter then finding some kind of bald cap thing. as for being pale, i dont think that should matter too much, maybe just put on a bit of fake tan and if you end up looking a bit shiny then thats good (Rude is quite the shiny fellow). if you get the shades and suit right the rest will all look fine i reckon. |

Awh, this old VII thread needs more love! I'm remaking my Aerith so it doesn't suck anymore.. =) I'll have some pictures of it in about a week or so after I finish more of my current project.
